I just got off the phone with Christina's doctor. I am a mixture of angry and sad. I can't believe they didn't tell us beforehand that there was a 14 day incubation period for the baby. You would think they would tell you these things before your wife gave birth in the midst of a pandemic, but no. Also, I am sad. Chris and I were both SO excited to meet the baby. After a miscarriage and then nine months of agony, we've been waiting for a long to meet him and now we have to wait another two weeks, which feels unbearable. I sigh, and go up to our room. I know even though I am disappointed, as the mother of our child, Christina must feel a hundred times worse, and I have to support her. But first, just a quick nap....
