I don't know what all the hype is. Yes, I'm a little worried about Lisa, but she's going to be fine. This virus isn't that deadly, is it?
So far I've walked in onto many of my sisters crying and just left because I didn't want to be sucked in. I know that sounds cruel, but if they want to worry, they can, One of us needs to stay level-headed. for when Lisa is okay and can come home. Even. after all of this, I still feel a little bit uneasy, but. I stuff the. feeling down and call to Emmyn. "Hey Em! We need to film for the 'Dani and Emmyn Channel' and then after that, I need to film for my 'Conscious Calleiro' channel. Let's do it now, so we have enough time to edit." "Okay," he sighs in resignation. Emmyn's least favorite thing is filming. He much prefers editing. We film a quick ten minute video, highlighting five fun things that we have done during quarantine. After, Emmyn starts to edit and I go downstairs to get a snack. I am just sitting down with a plate of curried chicken from last night's dinner, when I hear the door open. Kath walks in, the expression on her face like someone has died. Lisa is still ok, I think, slightly exasperated. But I remind myself that we all deal with things in different ways, and Kath has really bad anxiety, so that's adding to an already stressful situation- causing her to completely break down.
As soon as she enters the door, she collapses on the couch next to Christina, who I can tell had been crying, but is now holding it together for Kath. They hug each other, hard, and Christina doesn't let go for a Long time. I go over to join them, and sit on the other side of Kath, rubbing her back.She gratefully glances at me, but tears still roll down her face steadily. Christina, Amy, Kath, Lauren and I sit on the couch together without speaking until Chad clears his throat. I forgot he was there. Poor guy. He must be so worried about Lisa.
