Normal POV
The clouds began to gather in the gloomy sky. What was once a sunny, yet humid day, suddenly turned into a rainstorm. Subaru glanced up towards the sky as soon as he heard the faint rumble of thunder in the distance. Not being able to take proper cover under a storefront before they got drenched.
Felix blushed as he glanced down at himself. His clothes were thoroughly wet and almost see-through. He hugged himself, biting his lip as he looked over at his boyfriend, Subaru. The dark-haired male tried not to stare, running a hand through his hair.
"Looks like we can't make it to the hot springs resort, huh?"
Felix felt a little bad about that, he was actually looking forward to spending time with Subaru at the resort. It's been so long since he properly took a vacation... but, maybe it wasn't meant to be.
Subaru lead Felix back down the street, watching as others huddled for cover. Thunder cracked through the clouds once again, causing one of the girls they were passing to shriek. It looks like everyone was heading back to somewhere safe. Who knows if this rainstorm was going to get worse?
Subaru figured they should hurry, glancing over at Felix when he felt the boy's arms grasp his own. Their footsteps picked up with the sounds of wet cement, heading to the nearby hotel. The lobby was bustling with people as they made their way to the reception counter to see the status of the boats going to the island resort.
"It's going to be a big one, tonight." The man said. "The boats are being delayed until the storm passes."
This news saddened the boys. It looks like their trip will need to be put on hold for now. They rented out a room and began making their way to the south side stairs. There was less people down this route and they could even make it to their room quicker.
"Felix-chan's worried." The sandy-haired boy mumbled, climbing the stairs right behind Subaru.
They could still hear the thunder crackle outside and it was only getting louder.
"Don't worry, we're safe in the hotel now... I just feel bad that we couldn't get to the hot springs today." He said, looking down at his soaked clothing. "We need to get out of these clothes before we catch a cold or something." He said with concern in his voice.
This whole trip would be ruined if either of them ended up getting sick from something silly like this. When they reached their floor, a few people passed them as they went down one of the hallways. They were mumbling about this being one of the worst thunderstorms since they were children. It was a littler surprising. Felix stayed close to Subaru as they walked past several doors, finally reaching their room.
Subaru caught a look of the outside from the window next to their door, noticing the clouds fully covering the sky now. It was pouring hard, soaking everyone below as they scrambled to get back into the hotel. He sighed, unlocking the door and letting them both inside. The room was quiet and the curtains were already drawn.
It looked like no one came in to clean up after them, so their beds were still messy. It was fine, though. They were probably just going to get back into bed to rest until this whole storm blew over.
Subaru walked over to his bed, already slipping off his shirt and hanging it up with some clothing pins. They were completely soaked through, and he wasn't about to just toss it somewhere else.
He ran his fingers through his hair, eyes drifting towards Felix. The boy was undressing like he was... but for some reason, Subaru couldn't help but stare. He had to admit that Felix was really attractive. Especially, since he got soaked from the rainstorm, his clothes clung to him clearly making out the curves of his slender body.
