"Chill"

I wake up to see light shining on my face. I slowly open my eyes and grab my phone besides me. Wow I woke up before my alarm went off. I thought, until I got up. Then the annoying ringing went off which triggered my flight or fight, so I slammed the alarm off making it stop.

I walk over to my dresser and pick out an outfit. I just wear a black pro club with ripped jeans. My hair was wavy so I decided to pair my outfit with a black beanie I had.

I walk down to the kitchen and see Diego cooking. What the fuck Diego NEVER cooks food and if he does the whole house will burn down. I slowly look over to him and see he's not doing that bad.

"Uhh, Diego." I say and he jumps.
"What the fuck bro you messed up my pancake." He frowns and shows his deformed pancake. I giggle as he just rolls his eyes.
"Since when do you even cook?" I question him.
"I saw this video on tiktok and I wanted to try it." He answers as he flips the pancake.
"Well they better turn out good because I'm fucking hungry." I grin taking juice out of the fridge.
"Trust me they WILL be good"

"Yum what's that smell." Avani says coming downstairs.
"Diego's cooking." I respond to her laughing.
"Oh god" she also laughs.
"What's so fucking funny about me cooking?" Diego hisses.
"Because last time you tried to cook, you almost burnt grandmas house down and I HAD TO put the grease fire out because you were about to pour water on it." I bark back at him getting pissed off.
"BINGO" Avani adds to my reply.
"Whatever dude." Diego scoffs.

Everyone eats Diego's pancakes and they weren't that bad; they were actually good.
"Not too bad Diego. Not too bad." Alex says cleaning up everyone's plates.
"See and y'all didn't believe me." Diego replies looking at me and Avani.
"Well actually we did believe you" Avani says.
"Yeah we believed that you were gonna start a fire." I finish her sentence.
The house roared with laughter and teasing Diego.

"Lets just go before we are late." Diego says trying to change the subject while grabbing his backpack.
I follow in his steps and grab mine along with my skateboard.

When we get to school everyone parted ways except for me and Diego. Well since we are best friends. Diego is actually one year older than me but people always say we look so much alike so we just say we are twins. I don't have a problem with that except when Diego uses the excuse to be protective over me.

I get all my stuff for first period and slam my locker shut. I turn around and see the one and only Mattia Polibio.

"Hey," he says pulling me into a hug.
"Hey." I reply with a hug.
"Get a room you two." Diego says in disgust.
"Chill, we are just friends and only friends." Mattia says in an obvious tone.
As soon as those words came out of his mouth. My heart dropped down to HELL. I frown and look down at my feet. I tend to crack my knuckles if I'm in an uncomfortable position, which I start to do rapidly.

Mattia's POV

As soon as I said those words I felt a rush of regret wave through my body. I look over and see Izzy's expression go blank, she looks down and starts cracking her knuckles. Oh shit is she gonna swing? I hope not. I felt bad for saying that but I didn't want to see that I was obsessed with her or rushing things. But now that I look back I should've just stayed quiet. Fuck. Way to go Mattia, now you just broke the girl you likes heart.

Diego's POV

When Mattia friend zoned Izzy I was so close to bursting into laughter until I saw my baby sisters expression completely change. I see her look down and start cracking her knuckles. Oh shit, she's uncomfy. I pull her away as soon as the bell rings to first period. I swear imma fuck that dude up next time I see him.

Back to Isabelle's POV

After that second hand embarrassment this morning the day ways actually decent. Besides me wanting to brutally kill each of my teachers, school is good. SIKE BITCH YOU THOUGHT. no. School makes me wanna rip out my internal organs and feed them to my cat. School kisses ass. And I bet the whole UNIVERSE, can agree with my on that. Even the aliens, they can say akaowidhdjwpj and it means "school is a sack of bullshit." I dare someone to say school is good. Because the only reason I go there is because of the law and if there wasn't, god the freedom I'd have.

Anyways. I can't wait for this weekend because I get to see Jazymns grave the first time coming back. I can't go during the week since it's a 45 minutes drive. Plus Diego's wants to go with me so the only time we are free is this weekend. Let's hope this goes good.

A/n; guys quarantine got me messed up. There is nothing to watch on Netflix because I finished all the good shows. Also they took the sandlot off of Disney plus. Like what the fuckury is that.
