"Love or lust"

We hung out by the pier mostly for the rest of the day. We learned a lot more about each other today then we have since we've met. After walking up and down the pier we decided to hang out by the beach.

"No! This one time Diego and I were like 7, and he stole something from the liquor store that used to be around the corner from our house." I said pointing at my brother.

"Dear god not this story." Diego dropped his head into his hands.

"And when he came back home, spooky had found out and walked him BACK to the store, hand the candy that he stole to the cashier and made him apologize for about 10 minutes and explain why he was wrong and will never do that again." I started breaking out into laughter as the rest of them, except Diego, did too.

"That ain't right." He shook his head

"Did he cry?" Kairi asked, barely catching his breath.

"Oh yeah definitely, he was sniffling the whole way there and just completely broke down when he was in the store, that's why it took 10 minutes." I said.

"Okay well I was seven at the time? What about that time when you got rejected by-"

"WE DO NOT TALK ABOUT THAT TIME." I immediately cut him off.

"wait no we should talk about that time!" Kai chuckled.

"Well it was the beginning of like 8th grade and Iz liked this boy a lot in our grade and-" Diego was cut of by the headlights and a car door slam.

"What so you guys decided to hang out without us?" I hear the voice of devyn while she's getting out the passengers seat.

"I mean what's your problem with me recently? I don't get it iz?" I'd figured it was Mattia walking up to us

"You don't get to call me that." My voice mood changes.

"And who the hell is this?" Devyn points at Kai.

"He's OUR friend and no one invited you guys so can you fuck off?" Diego said.

"I thought we were friends too?" Mattia questions.

"We'll friends don't go for the girl their best friend liked" Kairi speaks up.

"What the hell are you even talking about?" Devyn asked.

"Devyn are you fucking blind!? Kairi literally was in love with you? And you led him on so hard just to go with his friend? That's really low." I talked to trying to open up her eyes.

"What do you mean?" She plays dumb, I can tell by the way her body language is, she likes Mattia now..

"I'm so done with you right now like it's making me physically fucking angry Devyn." I put my hand on my forehead.

"What is this little shit doing here?" Mattia points to Kai.

"I'm hanging out, you got a fucking problem with that?" Kai steps up to Mattia.

"You stepping up to me?" Mattia just about reaches Kai height

"You know what let's just go." Diego said, taking the car keys out of his pocket.

"No I want to have a talk with Isabella and why she's been a bitch to me recently."

"Did you just call me a bitch?" Now I'm the one stepping up.

"I would like to now why you're being one?"

"You wanna know why I'm being one?" She nods her head yes.

"Hm well lets start from the beginning. I had admitted to you that I liked him" I point to mattia. "Like multiple times after you demanded me to tell you, and the like the next day I saw you putting your hands all over him, like your his bestie?" My face is probably red at this moment.

"And then now your holding hands with him and talking to him everyday, before you hand no interest whatsoever, but now that I confessed to liking him you do? That shit doesn't make ANY sense." I'm almost yelling.

"AND YOU, you led me one just like Devyn did to kairi, you even showed me feelings at one point I assume, so now you just go along with Devyn?" I switch myself over to Mattia.

"You know what? You guys are made for each other, but two wrongs don't make a right, just remember that." I practically spit and walk over to our car.

Before I reached the end of the sand I felt a kick to my back, making me hit the floor.

"Oh shit" Diego whispered under his breath.

In a swift move, I come up and roundhouse kick Devyn in the side of the cheek, that's definitely gonna give her a black eye.

She drops to her knees covering her side of the face as Mattia rushes to the rescue of her.

"Hopefully you can cover that up before tomorrow" I said and followed everyone walking back to the car.
