Isabella's POV

This weekend is Devyn's birthday.

She said she wants to do another party this year, everyone agreed, like I thought they would. Alex and I just went with it.

She is really getting on my nerves though, she had asked me if I had liked Mattia or even wanted to be with him. But then after I gave her my answer, she went out of her way to befriend him.

Like what the fuck!?

"Cmon let's go" Diego came into my room.

"I'm coming," I rolled my eyes, grabbing my skateboard and walking out the door.

"Everyone said they're gonna come after 2nd period since they're going out for breakfast." Diego said. "And I've seen the way you are to devyn and why you're mad, it's fucked up"

"I don't wanna talk about it that much, Mattia did Kairi wrong too. It's confusing how she went from liking Kairi to kissing Mattia." I replied.

"I think it's going to rain." Diego said looking up to the sky.

"Are you serious!!" I said, getting off my skateboard, taking my cover that I bought in my backpack.

"Where did you get that from?" He asked, getting off of his.

"Amazon." I answered, not even looking up at him, putting my skateboard in my hand.

"Well I don't have one!" He said.

"Okay? And how is that my problem?" I rolled my eyes.

"Fuck you."

"I just bought this skateboard a couple weeks ago, I'm not trying to ruin it." I said.

"Fuck you."

"Shut up."

"We should go sit with Daniel again." Diego said, pointing to the table with the young boy.

"Alright, fine with me." I said, walking over to his table until I heard my name.

I whipped my head over and saw Alejandro standing up, waving for us to come to their table. I saw Mattia not making eye contact with Kairi, chewing on his pretzel. And Kairi dead staring at Mattia with his arms crossed, leaning back in the chair.

I furrowed my eyebrows and starting shaking my head, declining his offer. I went over to Daniel's table instead.

"Hey mate." I said, Diego and I sitting down.

"Hey guys, how are you doing today?" He smiled.

"Good what about you?" Diego said.

"Fine, but you guys can call me Kai, my full name is Malachai, but people would make fun of me for that name, like I'm a sociopath or something, so I just went with my middle name, Daniel." He replied

"Alright Kai." I smiled, just before I heard a bunch of commotion over at a different table.

We all look over at the table that the noise is coming from and it's devyn. Making. Out. With. Mattia.

I felt a huge amount of pure rage rush through my body at the sight.

Then I saw a angry Kairi speed walk over to our table, and slam his tray down.

"Hey Kairi." Kai said.

"oh hi Kai." He said, obviously pissed.

"You know his actual name?" Diego asked.

"I was friend with Kai before I was with Mattia, but Mattia bullied Kai, and called him -"

"An abomination." Kai and Kairi said at the same time.

"That's fucked." Diego said and I just shook my head of disbelief. How could he?

I grabbed my apple and before I took a bite of it I heard an annoying laugh. I look over and see Devyn and Mattia laughing.

I was gripping my apple to hard and it exploded all over the table, causing Kairi and Diego to flinch, and Kai laughing.

"I'm sorry." I said and cleaned up most of the pieces that were all over the table and set them on my tray.

"Hey do you wanna hang out with us after school?" Diego asked kairi and Kai.

"Sure, what do you guys wanna do?" Kai asked.

"We could go down to the pier?" I suggested.

"Yeah, I'll drive. It shouldn't be too rainy." Diego said.

"I'm down,..... just use though... right?" Kairi raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, obviously." Diego and I said in unison.

"Just making sure." Kairi said.
