i was panting as i reached the main roads. everywhere i look, i see cars rushing and almost hitting me.

then i got hit by a car but instead of getting any pain, i was surprised as i saw myself inside the car who i thought hit me. i looked around and i am beside donghyuck and my father was the one who was driving the car.

what is this? what's going on?

"you two are always arguing since you were little. i'm happy to see the both of you grow together." my dad said looking back on us while donghyuck, beside me smiled, scratching the back of his head.

my eyes widened seeing an accident in front of us, it was a truck and a car but as my father saw it himself, he lost control as he tried to refrain from getting towards the direction of the accident.

yet he failed.

the last thing i knew is that donghyuck was hugging me, as i felt like we were upside down.

"d-donghyuck, hey.. are you alright?" i asked him and pushed him a bit just to see his face but.. his face, he's covered with blood, he's unconscious..

i crawled up, not minding any of the wounds i've got, trying to wake him up, trying to hear any word from him and also to my father.

i yelled, cried for help, just as the ambulance and police were there in a minute.

"donghyuck, just hang in there, please." i cried holding on both his cheeks.

"h-hyu..rin," i felt a hand on my arm, it was him, "i'm... so-rry." and then his hand fell, his head and his weight fell on me.

"ya.. ya! lee donghyuck wake up! what are you sorry for?! hey!!" i yelled over and over, hoping for him to wake up but then, the emergency crew pulled us apart.

i got inside an ambulance where my father is and they said he still have a pulse, it was a relief.

my sight went blurry as my head felt heavy, and then, i didn't knew what happened after that. as i opened my eyes, we were already at the hospital, i saw the doctors rushing them to the emergency room.

i couldn't feel both my left arm and feet, i see so much blood, my eyes hurts, everything hurts.

"hyurin!" i heard my mom shouting from afar, she was crying, "where are they? where's your father?!"

"f-father, w-where.. are t-they." i couldn't say anything, it feels really hard and i didn't knew what was going on.

"are you alright? are you hurt? what happened?!" mom cried loudly while hugging me.

but the doctor and nurses pushed us away from each other and says that i got several injuries. lucky that i lived.

but.. what about them?

"i am very sorry ma'am, we did our best but, your husband, mr. yoon didn't make it." the doctor told my mom and it sent her falling down with her knees.

my dad, he died...

my eyes went wide, everything felt numb as i realized what was happening. i was with them, my father and.. donghyuck. where is he?

i stood up from my bed where the nurses was treating my wounds but i fell on the ground, i couldn't walk.

"ma'am you shouldn't be-" i pushed her, pushed them, and forced myself to stand up.

removing all of the needles that they attached on me, i ran with one leg and holding on the walls to support me from falling.

where is he?

then i remembered where i saw them being rushed into and headed immediately to the emergency room.

"clear!"

and there, i saw him.

"donghyuck?! donghyuck!!"

blood. blood's all over his face, his body, everywhere. he's unconscious, lifeless. i-is he waking up?

"ma'am, you're not allowed in the emergency room, please stay out." they pushed me away.

"ma'am please go back to your bed, your wounds-"

"donghyuck!!" i shouted one last time before they could take me away, from him.

i wanted to hold him tight, tell him that i am here, that i would never leave him. if only i could do something. if only i could, i would stay by your side, no matter what, i will hold your hand, for one last time.

and would never leave.

if only.

i knew i could not get back into myself since that day, like who wouldn't? my thoughts, everything, is just killing me.

i didn't even had the chance to tell him that i love him. that i am very thankful that i have him. and i wanted him to stay with me forever, to never leave.

never leave me.

we made a promise.

now where are you?

"lee donghyuck where are you?!" i shouted, standing onto the railing of place where we both always knew and always went to.

"i'm here. we could be with each other now, and never leave. i came here for you."

and then i tripped.
