"Get your ass off to school you lazy bitch!" I heard my mother yell from downstairs. I pulled a black hoodie over my school uniform and grabbed my backpack.
I quickly ran down the stairs and avoided my mum as I walked through the kitchen and out the front door.
As I began walking to the bus stop, I put in my earphones and put the hood over my head. I turned my music down low so I could still hear the rain falling around me.
As I got to the bus stop, I noticed a couple other people from my school looking miserable from the cold rain. I however, loved the rain, it calmed me, something that I was extremely thankful for.
The old, loud bus arrived, pulling me from my thoughts. I stepped onto the bus and showed the driver my bus pass, he nodded and I walked to the middle of the bus, taking a seat.
I placed my bag next to me to ensure that no one would sit beside me."Are you getting off or what?" I heard a raspy voice ask. I looked up to see a blonde haired boy looking at me inpatiently. I realised that we had arrived at school and everyone had already gotten off the bus.
I quickly grabbed my bag and briskly walked off the bus, with the boy following me, practically stepping on my heels."Hey! Hey, wait up!" I heard his voice again, I continued walking, not wanting to make social interactions with anyone.
He eventually caught up to me, placing a hand on my shoulder, which caused me to stop and turn around to face him.
"Hi, I'm Luke." The boy said.
At this point I faintly remembered seeing him around school a few times.
I also noticed his piercing blue eyes, and lip ring that he was biting.
"And you are...?" He questioned, waiting for me to answer.
"Doesn't matter" I said, and with that, I walked off and in to the gates of my school, which, as much as I hated it, it was the only place, apart from the streets that I felt safe.
