Once I had finished sorting the CDs, I walked over to the register. "Hey, so I need to show you how to use the register, incase I'm not here and there's a customer." Reagan said.
She began showing me how to use it, and I was surprised at how much she knew even though she started a couple days ago.
"Ok, I'm going over to the coffee shop next door, do you want anything?" She asked as she picked up her wallet and phone. "Um...yeah. Can I have a mocha?" I asked. "Sure, I'll be back in about five minutes." She said as she walked out.I found a pen and had began drawing a sugar skull on a random piece of paper that was on the bench. I heard the door open, but didn't bother to look up.
"Nice drawing". I looked up to see Luke in a white shirt and a maroon beanie on his head. "Luke?" I asked, wondering why he was here. "That's me!" He grinned.
"You've already used that one" I said as I rolled my eyes, remembering when he said my artwork in English was good. Luke chuckled "well, you are a good drawer"
"Thanks, what brings you here?" I ask. He lightly chuckles "I could say the same to you."I rolled my eyes at his remark. "I work here, what your excuse?"
"I'm looking for the Nirvana self-titled album, on CD."
He followed me over to the 'N' section, before I found the black album cover and handed it to him.
"You have good music taste" I smiled. "And so do you" he said smirking.
I was comfused, how did he know what music I listened to?
Then I remembered him stealing my phone in English, he must have seen the All Time Low case that Reagan got me for my birthday.
I rolled my eyes and led him over to the register. I scanned the CD and pressed some buttons on the cash register to come up with the price.
"That's $10.00, please" I smiled. He pulled a crisp blue $10 note out of his pocket and placed it in my hand. I put in it the till and popped the CD and the receipt in a little bag for him."See you tomorrow" he beamed, as he walked out of the store.
Just as he left, Reagan appeared from out the back with a tray of coffees for Johnny, herself and me. She handed me my mocha and I took a huge gulp, not caring that it was slightly burning my tongue.
"So who was that hottie?!" She asked, sitting up on the bench.
"He's a...um..." I began.
Was Luke my friend? I didn't really know. I mean sure, he's nice to me, and I have his number, but he only started talking to me at the start of the week.
"Friend. He is my friend." Reagan smiled and hugged me. She knew about how I didn't have any friends at school and that I hated talking to new people. So calling someone my 'friend' was a huge deal. Johnny walked in, obviously finished with the recording. He grabbed his coffee and began to chug it. "Woah, slow down there!" Reagan said, the two of us laughing.
Johnny chuckled. "It's just that I haven't had coffee all week because being a radio presenter, you're not supposed to drink coffee because apparently it make your voice sound weird on radio." He explained. Reagan was taken back. She had always wanted to be a radio presenter but she absolutely adored coffee. "I guess I would have to choose one" she sighed, hopping off the counter and grabbing her handbag.
"Well, we're done here, Zoe, I'll give you your roster and you two can get going. "Thanks Johnny" I said. He handed me an A4 piece of paper with my shifts on it, I gladly took it and folded it, then put in in my pocket."Bye Zoe" he said, he then whispered something in Reagan's ear, which caused her to blush. I was curious as to what he said but I decided to save the questions for the car.
We hoped in her car, and the engine roared to life, she then pulled out of the car park and began driving home.

Ok so I'm not sure if this was confusing but she works at a little radio station that also sells CDs and Vinyls. Kind of like the place that Becca from Pitch Perfect works at.
Also, if you have any other questions about the story, don't hesitate to comment or inbox me for an answer because I'm not entirely positive that it all makes sense.
Anyway, thank you for reading and please vote and comment it would mean so so so much!!!!!!
