My eyes opened, expecting to see the morning sun shining through my window, however, I was greeted by the setting sun, which caused the white walls of my room to turn orange.

I grabbed my phone, and checked the time. It was 5.00, and I had to be at Reagan's at 5.30. I got up from my bed and put on my stone-washed skinny jeans and a Led Zeppelin muscle tank. I pulled my hair into a messy bun as I walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth and fix up my makeup. I grabbed a red bandana and tied it around my head before reapplying some black eyeliner.

I walked back into my room to put on my shoes, this time opting for black combat boots. I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs.
As I made my way to the kitchen, my mother began to ask me questions. "And where do you think you're going?" There was no way I could tell my mum about working at the radio station, because 1. She would say that it's a bad influence 2. Wonder why I wanted money, and 3. She would find out about Reagan.
"I'm not going anywhere, I just felt like wearing shoes." My mother rolled her eyes at my pathetic excuse. She walked away and mumbled something to herself, probably an insult, and walked back into the lounge room.

I grabbed an apple and walked back upstairs, I would have to leave out of my window because the front door creaks. I went over to my bed and placed my pillows under the blanket, just incase my mum came into my room, I mean, I doubt that she would, but it was just for good measure.

I climbed out the window and stood on a branch of the big tree that was just outside my window, I climbed down the tree and quickly walked over to Reagan's house. She was waiting outside.

As usual, she was wearing black skinny jeans and a black tank top that showed off her tattoo sleeves. Her hair was done the same as mine and as I got closer, I saw that she was wearing her signature winged eyeliner and red lipstick.

She smiled as she saw me and gave my a hug "ready for your first job?" She asked. "Sure am" I replied, before hopping into her baby blue, 1967  Ford Mustang.

I smiled as I sunk into the vinyl seat and she brought the engine to life.

"How exactly did you afford a vintage car like this? It must have cost you a fortune!" I said, running my fingers along the chrome interior.

"It was actually really cheap, I got it second hand. It was in absolutely horrible condition when I bought it, so since my dad is mechanic, he helped me restore it." She beamed, obviously proud of her car.

We soon arrived at the radio station, and got out of her car. We made our way inside and she waved at the other guy who works here. "Zoe, this is Johnny, he works here too." She said, introducing him to me.
He looked to be in his mid-twenties, and was wearing black skinny jeans, a Bring Me The Horizon shirt and a black beanie that covered his electric blue hair. I also noticed that he had black earrings and his nose pierced.

"Ok, so, since it's your first day, I have this box of CDs for you, I'd like you to put them on the shelves in alphabetical order, when your done with that you can help Reagan at the register. "Ok, sounds easy enough." I said, smiling and getting off to work. Johnny nodded and walked into the recording studio.
