(52) Cringey Crystal Gems (52)

Your POV

You could feel the speed as you were flying through the air.

Suddenly the speed stopped and you and Steven flew into the other side of the bubble with a scream.

The bubble was placed on the sand in front of the house, you stood up and Steven grabbed the things. He removed the bubble and you thanked the sea for its help. It turned to normal and you jumped onto Steven, giving him a large hug, the both of you falling over, making him drop the stuff- again.

Inside the gems heard a squeal, Amethyst jumped over the balcony and Pearl was running down the steps. You helped Steven up and the two gems ran over.

"Ooooooo did my dude get the girl?" Amethyst teased Steven, leaning on his shoulder and poking him, making him laugh a bit. He had blush on his face too.

Pearl came over to you and hugged you, "I hope you both had a good time!" She smiled, looking at you and then Steven. "Mhm" you mumbled, blushing.

"Oh gurl, you gonna have to share them deets" Pearl shoves you gently with her shoulder. Amethyst cringed and Steven laughed, oh god Pearl could be a cringe queen.

LGarnet soon cane walking down the steps outside into the beach, "Hello kids. Have fun?" She had a smirk on her face, already knowing what happened.

You smiled and blushed, Steven did the same. "Mhm" you nodded looking down, a light blush on your face. Garnet laughed and placed a hand on your shoulder "I know"

Steven laughed. "Okay can we not talk about the date please?" Steven rubbed his neck and the gem laughed, all knowing they had embarrassed the both of you.

"I'm going to go have a shower" you smiled looking around. Everyone nodded and you all went inside. "Be sure to get ready, we're going to go to Little HomeSchool today, you get to meet the others" Garnet smiles at you and picked up Cat Steven.

"We are?!" Steven was excited, You didn't think he had done much when he was searching for you, so he didn't see them in months.

Steven was smiling, you followed. "Oh I can't wait! I-I haven't been a-able to meet t-them yet!" You were so excited you didn't realize your stutter. You had been waiting to meet them for a while!

Bismuth gave you a sword with a red handle and vines with little yellow stars on for your training a while back. You'd been waiting to thank her in person. Plus you had heard stories about Lapis when she threw the barn onto Blue Diamond while saving everyone, and you'd heard about how Peridot helped save the world by helping the cluster! They seemed so nice and you finally get to meet them!

"Okay! I'll be quick and Steven van have a shower after me! Okay, 10 minutes" you shouted and then ran into the bathroom.

You looked in the mirror, you swear it's one of your favorite things. It seems to reflect, not only yourself, but also the past and the future. You see something in it that's never there. It's like a dream you can't quite reach, or a word on the tip of your tongue.

You tried to take off your clothes, but... they were stuck to your body? You pulled but they didn't move. You remembered how they were made by you, so perhaps almost everything clothes wise you put on yourself... stuck on? You weren't sure.

You tried to imagine yourself naked, this time your gem didn't glow as bright and it didn't take as much effort. Just a small galaxy glow, and the clothes quickly faded away. You looked back into the water, surprised at how easy and how quick it had happened.

You got in the shower and washed through your hair, the usual. Around 8 minutes later you got out and dried off. You didn't know what to wear so you let your gut choose.

You stared into the mirror,
Please choose something I'm going to be happy and comfortable in. You sighed and closed your eyes. A gentle, small glow cane from your gem, it still took effort, just less now.

You opened your eyes, your (h/c) had been put in a high ponytail (if you have short hair it would stay down x) and a hair band was over the front of your head, little stars on and a galaxy background. You were wearing a sky light blue shirt with 3 yellow 'Steven Stars' -as you called them- on the front. You had a grey jumper rapped around your waste, and you had on some dark blue ripped jeans.

"Woah" you smiled, looking down at your outfit. You looked around and saw your arms... the scars. You didn't want them to be seen! Suddenly a black pair of skin tight gloves that went up to your elbow appeared. A white star on the back of your hands. You thanked your gem, a sigh of relief.

You weren't sure if they knew about your cutting or past but if they didn't, you didn't want them too.

You left the bathroom and Steven was talking to Pearl about something. You couldn't hear but they had shut up as soon as they saw you. Pearl smiled, and Steven blushed again. "You l-look amazing (y/n)" you smiled, an unknown blush brought to your face. "Thank you Steven"
