tw: abuseCASSIOPEIA ESTELLA BLACK WAS afraid, but if you asked her, she would never admit it. She was terrified, but if you asked her, she would shrug it off and say that you were crazy.
Cassiopeia Estella Black was petrified, so much so she was biting down hard on lip, hard enough to draw blood. She was so scared that her hands were shaking so much that her trunk was rattling on the smooth floor as she pulled it behind her, but if you questioned it, she would only say it was the floor, not her.
Luckily, for Cassie, neither of her parents had noticed, if they did, she knew it would only get worse.
The dark-haired girl was dreading the moment that her parents would take them back to Twelve Grinmauld Place, so much so, she was silently debating whether or not she should grab onto the doorframe of her compartment on the train, however Regulus face told her that he knew what she was thinking, and that idea went out the window.
Cassie would like to think that she was ready for what would happen when she got home, but she also knew that it would never be the case, her parents were like toddlers, you never knew what was going to happen.
Regulus, who was walking behind his sister, was sending sympathetic looks at the back of her head, hoping that she would somehow know what he was doing, but if she did, she wasn't showing it.
Walburga Black walked in front of her daughter, her high heels clicking on the floor, a sound that sent shivers down Cassies spine whenever she heard it, while Orion Black walked behind his son, and Cassie could feel his gaze piercing the back of her head. At the moment, neither of the parents had said anything, not even a hello.
And that would normally be a good thing, but Sirius would call it the 'Calm Before the Storm.'
And this time, Cassie knew that the storm was brewing.
The dark-haired girl let in a deep breath as her mother grabbed a hold of her wrist, and before Cassie had a chance to register the pain of her mothers finger-nails digging into her skin, both of the two female Blacks had been apperated to the place her parents called home.
Regulus and Orion not far behind, and quicker than you could say 'Salazar Slytherin' all the Black's were at Number Twelve Grimmauld Place.
Before Cassie could gather her surroundings, her mother's hand was quick to fly to her cheek, the sound of her palm colliding with her daughters cheek was heard throughout the whole house, yet none of the creatures in the house stirred.
