Sayyidina Uthman رضي الله عنه

Talha bin Ubaidulla رضي الله عنه narrates that Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said
For every Nabi there is a companion in Jannah and my companion in Jannah is Uthman رضي الله عنه

The son in law of Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم ...blessed with the greatest fortune of being wedded to two daughters of  Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم thus he was given the title of Dhun Noorain The Posseser of 2 Lights.
Upon the death of Umm Khulthum رضي الله عنها Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "If I had 100 daughters I would have given all of them in marriage to Uthman ,if each one had died"

While in Makkah together with Ruqqayah رضي الله عنها he migrated to Abyssinia.
When he left, Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Uthman رضي الله عنه is the first to make hijrah with
his family after Loot عليه السلام".

Due to Ruqqayah رضي الله عنها being sick during the time of the battle of Badr ,Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم asked Uthman رضي الله عنه to stay behind and look after her ,while he received the reward of those who took part in the battle .

When Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم and the Muslims emigrated to Madinah , there was no sweet water except the well of Rooma which Uthman رضي الله عنه bought upon the encouragement of Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم that who will buy the well of Rooma and make it waqf for the Muslims in exchange for one better than that in Jannah ,from his own money Uthman رضي الله عنه bought it and made it a waqf for the Muslims

When Masjidun Nabawi صلى الله عليه وسلم  became too small , Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said who will buy the piece of land from so and so and add it to the masjid in exchange for a better reward than it in Jannah , it was Uthman رضي الله عنه who bought it from his own money and added it into the masjid

Ayesha رضي الله عنها narrates that Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم was laying in his house and his shin was exposed when Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه sought permission to enter and permission was granted ,and Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم remained in his same position ,while they were speaking Umar رضي الله عنه sought permission and permission was granted and Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم remained in that manner , and they were speaking when Uthman رضي الله عنه sought permission , so Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم sat up and put his clothes right .
When he left Ayesha رضي الله عنها said :Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه came and you remained as you were , Umar رضي الله عنه came and you remained as you were , when Uthman رضي الله عنه entered you sat up and put your clothes right ?
Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said should I not feel shy of the person from whom they angles feel shy , verily Uthman رضي الله عنه is a modest man ,and I feared had I given him permission while I was in that manner ,he would have left without having fulfilled the need for which he came for .

Abdur Rahman bin Khabab رضي الله عنه narrates that he was present by Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم when he was encouraging the people to spend for the battle of Tabuk so Uthman رضي الله عنه stood up and said: "Oh Rasulllah صلي الله عليه وسلم,upon me is a 100 camels to give in the path of Allah . Again Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم gave encouragement and Uthman رضي الله عنه stood up and said upon me is a 100 camels to give in the path of Allah , again Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم gave encouragement and Uthman رضي الله عنه stood up and said upon me is to give a 100 camels in the path of Allah , I saw Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم come down from the mimbar while saying: After this no action will harm Uthman رضي الله عنه
Meaning: Jannah has become waajib for him.

Anas رضي الله عنه said that at the time of Bay'atur Ridwaan , Uthman رضي الله عنه was the messenger of Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم in Makkah and Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم took the Bay'ah of Sahaba رضي الله عنهم , Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said: Verily Uthman is gone to aid the Deen of Allah and Allah's Rasool, he then struck his one hand on top of the other . The hand of Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم that he struck for Uthman رضي الله عنه was better than the hand of each Muslim for themselves

Abdullah bin Umar رضي الله عنهما says that in Madina there was a great drought during the time of Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه, who said Insha Allah help will come by the evening , Uthman رضي الله عنه ،recived a trade caravan from Shaam , immediately upon getting the knowledge of that, the traders of Madina went to Uthman رضي الله عنه with the offer to buy it from him , he asked what have you to offer , they said for every one dirham 2 dirhams , he said I've been offered more they said for every one dirham 3 dirhams , he said I've been offered more , they said for every 1 we'll give you 5 , he said I've been offered more. They asked in surprise "who offered you more?" by Allah we are the traders of Madina ,he said my Allah promised me for every 1 He will give me 10 in reward , I make you all witness I have given all of this as Sadaqah for the Muslims.

Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما says that night I saw Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم in my dream and I had been desiring to see him but I saw he was in a hurry. I asked "oh Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم are you in a hurry?" he said yes .. Uthman رضي الله عنه has given the caravan in Sadaqah for the Muslims. Allah is marrying him to hoors at this moment and I am in a hurry to attend the nikaah.
