Chapter 22

"Taehyung forgives you"

Jeongguk widened his eyes at what the other said. He looked into his eyes and saw that they were soft, caring a little bit.

He wasn't lying. 

"Tell him I said thank you,"

"You can tell him yourself.."

Before Jeongguk could ask anymore Vante closed his eyes. He was confused on what he was doing, why did he have his eyes closed/

The other stayed like that for a while and Jeongguk started to get slightly nervous. The other wasn't responding to him. Was Vante trying to give back the control? If that was the case then it shouldn't take that long.

He tried to reach out to him and touch his shoulder but the other still didn't respond. He was about to call for Jin but he didn't.

The vampire finally opened his eyes and Jeongguk let out a sigh. But he teared up slightly when the other looked at him with the same, fearful brown eyes.

"Taehyung-"

"I-I'm sorry"

Sorry? Why was he sorry? Jeongguk should be the one that's sorry. Why is he apologizing?

"No, you are not allowed to say sorry."

Taehyung looked up with a questionable look, but he quickly looked away from how firm Jeongguk's eyes held.

He didn't want to return control, even though he forgave Jeongguk, he was still scared. But he was also terrified not being in control. He barely saw what was happening outside of his body. But he thought the other's were going to be mad for overreacting.

"B-But I overreacted.." He mumbled, looking down even more. He could feel his eyes water but he decided against it.

He needed to be strong for once.

"I-I'm sorry," Taehyung said while getting up but he felt a strong hand wrap around his wrist.

Taehyung flinched slightly and looked at Jeongguk with his eyes widened slightly. He saw the other giving him a soft look.

Jeongguk then pulled him back to the bed and he gave the other a soft smile.

"You should not be sorry at all. It was completely my fault that I yelled at you. I promise that I won't do that again. And you did not react at all, what happened wasn't your fault at all. I'm sorry Tae."

He heard the other say in the softest voice ever, causing him to let out a few tears. He has no idea when he became this sensitive, crying just because someone apologized to him?

"T-Thank you," he said quietly. The other heard the response and smiled at him. Taehyung looked at his smile and noticed how bright it was. His teeth resemble that of an animal, like a rabbit.

"Your smile looks like a bunny," Taehyung said. His eyes widened realizing that he said that out loud.

A blush started to rise on his cheeks when he heard the other chuckle.

"And your eyes look like those of a deer." Taehyung looked up to see the other look at him with admiring eyes.

"Did I ever tell you how beautiful you look?"

What?!

Taehyung's blush spread from his cheeks to the tips of his ears. He whined and pulled over the hoodie that he was wearing.

Jeongguk kept laughing at him and he felt completely flustered. He couldn't handle much of it anymore and got up to leave before his blush went throughout his whole body. Making him completely red.

He was about to reach the door when he got pulled back by the familiar strong arms.

"L-Let go of me G-Gukkie." He whined. Hiding his hands into his sweater paws.

Jeongguk behind him held his small body closer and he put his nose in the crook of his neck. He didn't realize that Taehyung had a sweet scent. So he decided to smell it a bit more, it smelt like flowers and rain.

"No. I like seeing you flustered," Taehyung heard a muffle come from his neck. He sighed, knowing he won't be able to leave the other's grasp.

Since when did he get so clingy? He thought while smiling.

He thought Jeongguk was going to let go of him but instead he picked him up. Taehyung yelped and clinged onto the other's shoulders.

Jeongguk was holding him in a bridal style and Taehyung had a nervous grip around his neck.

Before he could ask him to put him down the other started to walk out of the bedroom and into the living room. Where in the kitchen Seokjin was looking at them with the biggest eyes ever.

"Taehyung?!"

Taehyung looked up to see Seokjin with the brightest face ever, his eyes almost crying.

Jeongguk finally decided to let him go, but he didn't do it out of his free will. Taehyung ran over to Seokjin and gave him a big hug, while Jeongguk held back a possessive growl.

Taehyung felt Seokjin hold him tighter and he returned it. He missed his hyung's warmth.

"I missed you hyung,"

"Awe I miss you too Taebear, go to the couch and relax for a little while. I'm making your favorite Japchae"

Taehyung looked at him and smiled brightly, Jimin probably told him. He said thank you and walked away from the kitchen to go sit on the couch.

He looked behind him to see Jeongguk quietly say something to him.

Jeongguk then made his way over to the couch as well as sat down with him. They weren't too close to each other, until Jeongguk got clingy again.

Taehyung felt an arm wrap around his shoulder and he got pulled to Jeongguk's body. He looked up with a questioned look but the other was too focused on picking a song. When he opened his mouth the other interrupted him.

"Don't ask," He said with amusement in his voice.

The blonde then didn't ask and snuggled into him, sighing from the amount of warmth he gave off.

This caused Jeongguk to smile once more and Seokjin's jaw to drop.
