Eyes of a Target

Chapter 24

The carnival had so many beautiful colors blooming. Bright colors of green, red, purple and blue. While there are multiple different types of games out there including a few roller coasters and a ferris wheel in the background.

Taehyung's eyes brightened from the color reflecting in his doe eyes. Looking around with an excited face, mouth open in awe by how pretty it was.

He looked over and saw the others smiling at him, causing him to look down and blush. The others chuckled from how adorable he was.

They decided to go for a small but fun roller coaster. They didn't want to scare Taehyung.

All of them made their way to the entrance and it didn't look too scary to Taehyung. He was actually excited to go on this roller coaster, he has never really been on what.

Once they were finished being in line whey were lined up to where they would sit in the carts.

He went to one side and looked behind him to see Jeongguk following him. He gave the other a smile and went to look at the cart coming up in front of them.

The gates in front of him opened and he got into the far side of the cart, he looked down and saw some strap-like things over it. He knew that they were seat belts, he just forgot that they were on roller coasters for some reason.

He strapped himself up and sat up in the seat a little bit. He looked over and saw Jeongguk looking on the outside.

His arm on the outside while he was resting his chin on the palm of his hand.

Taehyung didn't notice what the other was wearing. His hair was slightly parted while he was wearing dark blue ripped jeans with a black shirt. As well as having black earrings.

While Taehyung had a light green sweater and black jeans. He doesn't wear any earrings because he doesn't have his ears pierced yet.

He was quick to look down when the other looked at him at the corner of his eye. The other chuckled and took his arm off of the outside.

Taehyung felt something grab his hand and he smiled slightly. He let Jeongguk intertwine their fingers and he just decided to look forward instead.

If he looked at Jeongguk then he would be a tomato throughout the whole entire ride.

The ride started and Taehyung felt a small squeeze on the hold that was being held by Jeongguk. It was going slow for a little bit until they were making their way up to a drop.

Dropping down Taehyung let out a small scream and clinged onto Jeongguk's upper arm.

Jeongguk laughed at how clingy Taehyung got during the whole entire ride. It wasn't even one of the worst rides. He nudged the other and he opened his eyes to see them still moving, but it wasn't that bad.

The boy started to laugh during the whole entire ride.

But sadly the ride was over and Taehyung pouted slightly. They got out and met up with the rest of the group after they got out of the area.

The group saw how excited Taehyung looked so they decided to go on another ride, pairing him with Jeongguk once more.

The group was there for an hour and Taehyung was giggling a lot. Having the biggest smile on his face.

He heard his stomach growl a little bit and he pouted. He looked over and saw a restaurant that gave him a smell he didn't know.

Taehyung looked at Jeongguk and pulled at his sleeve a little bit.

"Ggukie can we go eat there?" He asked while pointing at his restaurant.

"Yeah sure," he agreed and the others were happy that Taehyung found that restaurant. They haven't had pizza in a long time and have been craving it for quite some time.

They walked up and decided to choose what they wanted to order, but Taehyung didn't know.

Jeongguk saw the confusion on the other face and decided to help him with his order.

"Tae, do you want some help?" The other nodded with a slight blush.

He looked at the options and decided to split with each other. He only liked plain pepperoni and so he will get the other half cheese.

"I got you," Taehyung looked at him and smiled, nodded as a thank you.

Once everyone ordered their food they went to go sit down at a restaurant. Namjoon, Seokjin, Taehyung and Jeongguk were sitting on one side while Yoongi, Hoseok and Jackson on the other side.

Taehyung wishes that Jimin was there with him, they would have so much fun with each other. But he was having a lot of fun with everyone else.

He just hopes he can come back, the only thing he doesn't like is how long the drive was.

A certain smell invaded Taehyung's nose and he looked up to see the food that they ordered. He still didn't know the name of it, he will have to ask about it.

The guy holding the tray of food put it on the table and Jeongguk reached out for what he ordered, cutting a few slices and putting some onto Taehyung's plate.

"Ggukie, what is this?"

"Oh this is called Pizza, basically for you yours has cheese on the top with a sauce called pizza sauce on the bottom. And this is just bread." He answered while biting his pieces.

Taehyung nodded and ate his piece, eyes widened by how good it tasted. He dove into the pieces and ate them pretty fast.

He pouted and tapped Jeongguk, the other smiled and gave him the rest of his half.

All of them finished their food and decided to go to the ferris wheel, they didn't want to go on another roller coaster and upset their stomachs. Especially Taehyung's.

The blonde looked up and got a little bit nervous by how tall it looked from up close.

He felt the similar hand connect with his, calming him down immediately.

They walked up and the group decided to go separately, leaving Taehyung and Jeongguk in their own crate.

Walking in Taehyung got a little bit nervous by how it swung slightly from their step.

He sat down and started to rub his hand on his pants, removing his hand from Jeongguk. He looked outside but wasn't able to see anything yet.

The ferris wheel started to move and Taehyung slightly flinched.

He was able to see the outside as they started to move up, slowly revealing the rest of the park as well as the ocean out in the far distance.

Taehyung was fascinated by how beautiful everything looked at night but started to get scared as they were reaching higher and higher.

His breath started to quicken a little bit from fear. He felt his hands shaking a little bit.

"Taehyung, look at me," He heard the other but for some reason he didn't listen. He was too scared to move.

He felt the other shift a little bit and flinched a little roughly when he felt a hand on his left cheek. The hand put pressure and turned his head to Jeongguk. But his breathing didn't calm down.

But what surprised him was that he felt a pair of lips on his own.
