Chapter 36

Taehyung woke up to his favorite feeling, laying on top of Jeongguk. He lifted his head and tiredly smiled at the raven who was peacefully sleeping.

He looked at the small teeth marks on his neck, they were healing nicely. Taehyung leaned forward to give him a kiss on the marks.

Laying his head back down onto Jeongguk's chest.

A much more peaceful feeling laid onto his shoulders, after leaving the hospital he couldn't feel more happy.

Even though they haven't spoken to any council yet, the group that tried to hunt him down for years has been defeated. Shut down and the remaining individuals left have been arrested.

Taehyung read the note that was on their dresser from Jeonghan. That they had an anonymous tip called out to the police and the hunters were arrested. While the vampires were taken by the nearest council.

Even though there weren't that many laws in order to protect the half bloods it still wasn't allowed to kidnap and hold any type of vampire hostage.

That made Taehyung somewhat happy, but it wasn't enough. He wants to bring up the issue and struggles that half blood experiences.

Wanting every half blood out there to feel as safe just as how he is feeling at the moment.

As well as every child that is born half and half to grow up normally. Not grow up how he did. That is his main goal, to help change the vampire world. And this time he is not alone.

He felt Jeongguk underneath him start to move around. He looked up to see Jeongguk slowly opening his eyes.

When Jeongguk looked down, seeing Taehyung's beautiful chocolate eyes looking back at him.

"Morning baby," he said and started to rub his eyes.

Taehyung blushed from hearing Jeongguk's morning voice, damn. "Morning," he shyly stated and looked down, hating how flustered he is from hearing the raven's morning voice.

He felt Jeongguk give him a kiss on his head and he smiled, he loved waking up with Jeongguk. He feels safe and loved, before he was found by the group, he didn't know what his life ahead would look like.

Just an endless road of being scared and running away, but now he has someone. And that someone is his future and it's their journey. He's pretty excited for his journey to start with Jeongguk.

"D-Do you want me to make breakfast? Jinnie-hyung gave me a recipe and taught me how," Taehyung shyly stated, feeling flustered from Jeongguk staring at him.

He saw Jeongguk lean forward and give him a kiss on his nose, causing him to let out a giggle.

"I'd love that baby, do you want me to help?" Jeongguk asked and I nodded, giving him a kiss on his cheek and getting up to let Jeongguk sit up.

"Baby, last night when you were asleep I went to go get you some toothpaste and a toothbrush if you want to use that."

"Oh thank you! I'll go do that now," Taehyung happily said and got up to go to Jeongguk's bathroom. Jeongguk chuckling and getting up to follow the bouncing blonde.

Taehyung saw the toothbrush and paste that Jeongguk got him, taking the tape off of the toothpaste and brushing his teeth. A smile made its way onto his face when he saw Jeongguk come into the bathroom with him.

Jeongguk's strong arms wrapped around Taehyung's waist and gave the blonde a kiss on his head. Oh, Taehyung could get use to this lovely feeling.

They get ready for the day and come into the living room where Jeongguk brings his work computer and works on some stuff.

While Taehyung went into the kitchen he reached to the top of the refrigerator to grab the planner that held recipes. Seokjin showed how he organized his planner, and at one of the sections of the binder was the breakfast recipes.

He pulled out the French toast recipe, remembering that it was one of his favorite breakfast that he had as a kid.

Looking over to see Jeongguk on the couch with his laptop on his lap, going through some files. He turned around to start making breakfast, when he reached for the cabinet that had the bread. When he reached he saw a note on the side of the refrigerator.

'Namjoon and I are going to be gone for a few days, last minute vacation lol. Don't burn or break anything or I will murder you and put you up for adoption :)

From Seokjinnie'

"B-Baby, Jinnie-hyung left a note for us," he stuttered a bit from calling Jeongguk 'baby'. He hasn't done that yet and it's not a bad thing. He likes it.

When he looked over from hearing Jeongguk's footsteps, he saw a smirk on the raven's face. Guess he caught on to the 'baby' I said earlier, Taehyung thought in his head and his cheeks turned light pink.

Jeongguk grabbed the note and Taehyung started to get out the ingredients. Stirring the eggs so he can start making the bread.

He heard Jeongguk chuckle, looking over his shoulder to see Jeongguk putting the note on the cabinet. Taehyung leaned back to give Jeongguk a peck on his lips. Smiling and going back to making breakfast.

"Hey Ggukie? Could you get a separate bowl for me please? I need to use it to make the scrambled eggs," Taehyung asked while putting the pieces of bread onto the pan.

When Jeongguk put the extra bowl, he decided to take some of the eggs and start scrambling them. Bringing out a pan and starting to make the eggs.

Taehyung was smiling when he saw Jeongguk help him.

The food was almost done and he decided to put some bacon on a pan to make it real quick. He doesn't like bacon with his breakfast that much, but it's fine to have a couple if Jeongguk wanted some.

The food was finished and Taehyung was happy from how it turned out, he was excited to make Jeongguk breakfast and it turned out well. He put everything organized onto a plate and grabbed some napkins.

He put the plates onto the bar top in the kitchen and grabbed the sirup. Feeling Jeongguk's loving gaze on him.

"The food's ready," Taehyung said and turned around to look at Jeongguk. Giving him a loving smile. He was proud of himself for not messing up the food.

"Thank you baby," Jeongguk gave him a kiss on the head.

They walked over and sat together to eat. Loving the taste of the food and loved how they made their breakfast together.

After having a nice breakfast, they were cuddling on the couch and watching some tv show. Taehyung was playing with Jeongguk's hair while Jeongguk gave a few kisses on the boy's neck.

Taehyung also smelled Jeongguk's lovely scent.

*Ring*

Jeongguk's phone rang off disturbing the silence that both of them have. He reached down and Taehyung decided to give Jeongguk some room to talk.

"Mom?"

Hearing that made Taehyung's ears perk up. Mom? He thought he'd only heard about his mother when Jeongguk was talking about his past.

"I'm just spending time with my boyfriend..... Yeah you haven't met him yet, we just recently got together," Jeongguk was talking to his mother about Taehyung that was bringing a smile to his face.

"We are available this weekend, would you want to meet up this weekend? It can be at your house and I can pick up lunch," this brought Taehyung's attention. He looked at Jeongguk with wide eyes.

WHAT?!

A/N: Finally back with an update! I'm having a busy schedule lately and I'm starting driving school soon! So I'll try my best to have a faster schedule, again this book is ending soon and I want to start on other books soon. Thank you for supporting this book and I'm sad its coming to a close.
