Chapter 35

Taehyung woke up to the feeling of a hard chest, he looked up realizing that he was laying on top of Jeongguk. He smiled a little bit from remembering that one morning of waking up on his chest.

He smiled and rubbed his head on his chest, rubbing his scent over him a little bit. Feeling an arm wrap around his waist.

Taehyung looked up to see Jeongguk's eyes fluttering open, smiling at him.

"Morning gguk," Taehyung said, hearing Jeongguk hmm in response. Guess he was pretty tired.

He sat up and gave the raven a kiss on the cheek, he looked down and felt a lot of his wounds heal. Smiling knowing he will be able to go home soon and spend more time with Jeongguk.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm feeling a lot better, I just can't wait to go home," Home, he realized what he said. The base that first took him to heal him he now considers home.

Everyone that he has met there was very nice, especially Seokjin. He was like an older brother to him. While Jeongguk took a little while to ease up to him, after hearing his story Taehyung understands.

He didn't know Namjoon that well, same with Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jackson. But he can tell they were really nice people as well.

"Yeah, I want to spend more alone time with you," Jeongguk said with a slight smirk forming on his face.

Taehyung's chocolate eyes widened and a blush quickly made his way to his face, then hiding his face in the raven's chest.

He felt the vibration from Jeongguk's chest as he chuckled, the blush spread more quickly.

A smooth but rough finger made its way to his chin, pushing his head up slightly. Taehyung's eyes looked into his dark ones, seeing love and a slight lust in them. Joengguk's eyes made their way to his lips, leaning down to give him a small kiss.

Taehyung smiled and responded with a small kiss as well, but then pulled away with his nose scrunched up.

"Ew morning breath," Taehyung said while sitting up and slowly getting off of Jeongguk.

Jeongguk laughed and sat up, getting off of the hospital bed. Letting Taehyung stretch on his bed.

There was a knock on the door and the nurse that was there yesterday came in with a smile, her mask was off this time. Taehyung looked over and gave her a small smile.

"Hi Taehyung, how are you feeling?"

"A lot better, I don't feel the stinging from the wounds as much as I use too," Taehyung answered. Looking at the bandages on his arms.

"Well I am here to deliver you with some good news. You will be discharged tomorrow and will be sent home with some medicine and ointments to help with the healing process. Your blood has been restored and it seems like you're as stiff with your movements."

Taehyung smiled from hearing that he gets to go home soon.

"I just need to change your bandages and I'll make sure to keep you updated." the nurse said while smiling.

She walked over and changed his bandages, seeing that the skin was healing up nicely.

Rubbing ointment on them and grabbed the new bandages, smaller ones and wrapping them around his arms. Going to the wound on his stomach that was healing up, seeing the stitches on them.

"Oh this reminds me, before you are discharged Taehyung you will get these stitches removed," the nurse stated while inspecting the wound.

Taehyung nodded and gave a small smile, he didn't like the stab wound in his stomach. It leaves that area a little sensitive to him.

He hopes that it's not permanent. The nurse finished cleaning him up and removed his IV, putting a small bandaid on it.

"I'll check up on you before dinner," and she closed the door.

Taehyung looked back at Jeongguk and smiled, getting up and giving him a kiss on the cheek. He can now move around the room a lot more without being attached to that IV.

It was the day where Taehyung was finally discharged and he was relieved, he was starting to get bored in that room. Not saying that Jeongguk was boring, but he couldn't do that much.

He was holding Jeongguk's hand while he was waiting for him to check out at the front office, making sure to get all of his medicine.

Once they got checked up they met Seokjin, Namjoon, and Yoongi outside. They had their van waiting/

Jackson on the other hand (no I did not just forget about Jackson.......) he got out of surgery and it was successful. But he hasn't woken up yet and it's been two days since his surgery day. So once he wakes up both Jeongguk and Taehyung will come back to see him.

Until then, they will spend time with each other and plan away to start changing the vampire society.

How they wanted to do it, they discussed it yesterday during dinner, was to find one of the more high classed vampires, hopefully one of them would understand what's wrong.

They are going to ask if Jeonghan knew anyone that had any connections.

Jeongguk and Taehyung got into the car while Taehyung gave Seokjin a big hug.

"How are you feeling Taebear?"

"I'm feeling a lot better hyung, just a little bit sensitive in some areas but it's not that bad," Taehyung stated while looking at his stomach. The most sensitive part of his body.

Seokjin smiled, but it was a sad one. He knew how bad the stab wound on his stomach looked.

But the small vampire looks a lot more healed which he was happy about. He can also see that the boy was more happy, probably spent a lot of time with Jeongguk.

"How are you and Jeongguk?" he asked while both him and Taehyung sat in the back while Namjoon and Jeongguk sat in the front. Discussing what him and Taehyung want to do.

"W-Well um....." Taehyung stuttered while a small blush grew onto his cheeks.

Seeing Taehyung get flustered caused Seokjin to raise his eyebrow.

"Um we actually are now t-together," he said while looking down, fiddling with his fingers.

Soekjin's eyes widened slightly, but then he gave out a big smile and nudged his shoulder just a little bit teasing him.

Taehyung whined from seeing the teasing smile.

A rather loud laugh erupted from Seokjin causing Jeongguk to look back confused.

"Congrats Gguk," he said while nudging Taehyung once more. The blush spreaded faster across his face.

Jeongguk then chuckled from seeing Taehyung all embarrassed, which resulted in the rest of the car ride. Taehyung gets flustered from Seokjin asking all of these questions and Jeongguk laughs along with Namjoon.

They finally arrived home, Taehyung was sleeping onto Jeongguk while Seokjin and Namjoon were quietly talking.

Jeongguk then picked up Taehyung and followed the two mates into the house. Seeing it was a little bit dim inside of the house, it was already late at night so he decided to put Taehyung to bed.

Once putting the blonde hair boy in his dark sheets, he gave him a kiss on the cheek while got ready himself. Tomorrow was going to be the start of their journey to change the vampire world for the better.

A/N: this is just a more shorter, simple chapter. But I will be wrapping things up with this book pretty soon. I know it's taken me a year to write this book but I am figuring out how to write a lot better and update more quicker with this book. Thank you for supporting this and also thank you for 7k reads!
