She Saved Me (Gal Gadot/You/Katie McGrath AU)

Y/n's POV:

"They're here..." I heard Gal whispered. "T-they found me!" Gal screamed as pure horror shows in her face.

"We're gonna be alright, okay? I won't let them do anything to you. You're safe here." I told Gal as I caressed the cheeks. "Go follow go back to where the kids are at and help the others safe. No harm will ever come to you, Gal. I promise that." I told her as I kissed her forehead.

The runners came back with a ton of ammo and guns, we started reloading as we hear the gate slowly being broken down. "Defenders, to your position, with me! Runners, behind our backs cover us up with guns, ammos and explosives. Hunters, to the towers! Shoot them down, no survivors!" I looked at everybody. They are cannibals, do NOT let them go near you. We need to protect this place, you hear me?!" I added as everyone agrees. "To your positions!" Tom shouted as we waited for them to break down our gate. "Once they enter, fire at will." I commanded.

As if on cue, the gate fell down with the cannibals advancing toward us firing guns. With their bad aim, no one got shot at their attacks towards us. "Runners, shields" as we started shooting, the runners coordinately placed our shields to protect us.

One cannibal made it close to our shields almost stabbing one of the Runners, thankfully Tom got the man on time, saving one of our own. "Well, would you look at that, you literally fired at Will." I laughed as I continued shooting at the filthy savages.

Tom looks down at the man he killed to find that he was wearing a shirt with a name tag placed in his chest written 'WILL' in red ink. Tom laugh at the funny coincidence and started shooting with us. "Well that was unexpected" he laughed.

"TANGINA" I yelled. "I ran out of ammo!" As on cue, one of the runners reached out at gave me a machine gun. "Thanks, Joe. Let the party begin." I smirked "Everyone, full force! Let's wrap this up, I'm getting kinda hungry!" Everyone cheered in agreement as we all started firing all at once until only two we're left, I ordered everyone to stop firing.

"I surrender! Don't kill me, please!" One of them yelled tossing his gun towards us and cowered attempting to shield his head from bullets. "You fuckers!" The other one shouted. As he was about to open fire, one of the hunters shot him in the head, killing him instantly. The first man cried even more with fear.

"Let's get this over with." Tom says, taking his pistol out. I stopped him from his actions and looked at him, signaling 'no' "but you said no survivors?" I smiled at him and put my hand on his shoulder. "Yes but look, Tommy, he already surrendered."

Tom sighed and nodded in defeat feeling bummed out about not killing the last Cannibal attacker. "Very well." He said. He looked at the man and made him stand up. "You have ten seconds to run... if we catch you, we kill you." Tom added. As he's about to speak again, the cannibal sprinted away from our community scared to lose his life.

Everyone cheered at another victory. Builders started to gather to fix the broken gate and to assess the barriers. "At least you got to fire at Will right?" I joked at Tom. We both laugh as we made our way inside the community to wash up.

Gal's POV:

We hid inside the underground rooms that the builders made for emergencies like this... after long minutes of gunfights, gunshots stopped ringing in the air. One of the guards went out to check if it's already safe. "It will be fine, it's over now" I reassured Peter who's hiding his face in fear. He nodded his head and lifted it up to look around. "Can we go out now?" He asked. "Let's wait for the guard's signal first" I replied.

A few seconds later the guard came back telling us that it's safe to go out. Everyone cheered and I smiled gratefully. Peter immediately ran outside to look for his friends and I did the same to look for y/n.

I saw her and Tom laughing about some joke, they both find funny. I ran to them and greeted y/n with a tight hug. "Oh thank God you're all safe" y/n smiled. "There are a few scratches here and there but nothing to be worried about." She joked.

"I'll leave you two love birds alone" Tom teasingly said and ran away before y/n could hit him. I chuckled at their antics and turned to face y/n. "Thank you for defending everyone babe." I smiled pecking her on the lips. "It's my job, love. This community is important for me, I won't let anyone get harmed especially you." She answered.

I am so lucky to have y/n in my life. I feel very safe around her. I hope this lasts forever.

I hope you guys liked this chapter. I always think my poor grammar is making this story suck, I'm sorry about that.

Btw 'TANGINA' is a Filipino curse word... I believe it is equivalent to the word 'Fuck'????Idkkkkkk... what I do know is that every Filipino uses this curse word. Lol.
