I got home late the next day and exhaled immediately I got off from the taxi...I prayed silently that no one should be home because all I need right now is a cool bath and enough sleep since I'm jobless again
I opened the door silently, took off my heels,tip toed inside,as I was about to climb the stair case the light was switched on...well good
"Why are you sneaking in ...mom asked
"Hi Mom... I waved the question off
"You haven't answered me and why aren't you at work,you're supposed to be home in 2 days time ..she looked at me suspiciously
"I fell sick on board....I lied
"Young woman,you were very okay before you left this morning so don't give me that line...she insisted
"Mom I'm sick,can we do this later..I need to go shower... I pleaded and was about going to my room
"Natasha Anna Bells start talking...she insisted
"Fine mom I got fired... I yelled
I told her everything that happened and how I got back home

I got in, dropped my stuffs,striped myself and enjoy the fulfilment of the water on my body before jumping on the bed naked
Next morning
I woke up early since I was going job hunting today,washed up, got dressed in a loose top and denim shirt
The NY breeze hit me immediately I got out of the house...ok where do I go first,I decided to try coffee shops or a restaurant since those are what I know how to do best
My phone rang

"I'm on my way to look for any vacant position to fill myself in .... how's work... I asked

I saw a coffee shop and I entered hoping I'll be employed,I met a woman at the counter looking like a plastic Barbie with so much makeup on,does she think she's not gonna sweat or be stressed...phew
"Hi..I greeted her but she ignored me

"Well answer me or not,I only wanted to ask if there's an empty spot here.... I yelled
"Yeah there is and hi I'm Maria,I'll take you to the boss...a lady said
"She's always like that when there's no rich customer to seduce....she chuckled
"Hi I'm Natasha
I met with the boss,she's a lady in her early 40s, beautiful Indian with a thick English accent, Maria introduced me to her and I was told the whole basics of the job,I get to be on the same shift with Maria n the plastic Barbie
"So that's it my darling,your shift starts from 12 noon to 4pm,you'll get to make coffees if you do a wonderful job...she said with her accent
"My name is Mrs Manikarnika Khan but you can call me Manu...she mused
"I was bout saying I can't remember a name that long but thank you so much for the job,I'll start tomorrow..... I thanked her
