We left Marie's work few hours after Xavier called and I was sort of pleased he didn't push forward,I called Mom to let her know I'd be spending some nights at Marie's place and she was okay with it,her apartment is really comfy and homely,not to lavish and not too poor,just the typical ladies apartment

we ordered pizza and watched mean girls till we were ready to sleep,she gave me her extra pyjamas since we're the same size and made me sleep beside her,she wasn't having the whole I'll sleep on the couch thing

I woke up to the harsh ringtone coming from my phone,I looked for it around cause I didn't want to wake Marie up, I found it under Marie's pillow,wonder how it got there

"Mom it's really early you know.... I said lazily

"A man looking so fine just left here,he said he's your boss,mind telling me what's going on...........she said and I made sure to roll my eyes when she said "so fine"

"I'll explain to you later mom but for now I have to sleep....bye mother..... I said and hung up

I turned around praying silently not to have woken Marie up but I guess my prayers were too late cause she was already up and looking at me

"What's up,is everything okay.....she asked

"Yeah just that Xavier went home,that's why mom called but it's nothing...... I told her and she nodded

"Okay so what do you want for breakfast....

"I'm sorry I woke you up,it's your house and I just made you uncomfortable.... I apologized

"You didn't,i should be up by now already so we're good and please stop apologizing,you're like my sister....

She made a really quick breakfast since she was late and left,I was all alone doing nothing so I decided to go job hunting,I wore her clothes since I haven't gone home for mu stuffs yet and locked up

I was welcomed by the cool breeze of NYC, I went to several coffee shops,bakeries and all but they were all saying there's no vacancy and shit, I was so tired of walking so I decided to go to the park,it's where I go whenever I need to cool my head and it reminds me of the happy moments I had with my dad

I walked around the ferry wheel smiling at how happy the kids are, I wish I could be a kid once again,not thinking about anything than my happiness, I turned around when I felt someone touching the Hem of my gown

"Hey Sia..... I bent down to her size so she doesn't have to stretch her neck to look at me

"Hi Tash, what are you doing here.....she asked in her little voice and I laughed

"Just walking around, what bout you?

"Daddy brought me here but I'm lost now,I can play with you instead,.....she said

"Your daddy would be so sorry,let's go look for him then we'd all play together..... I told her

"Isn't he your daddy too,you look a lot like me .......she pressed on

"He is but you can't understand now sweetheart,let's go look for him yeah?.....

We walked around the park until I found him looking around for her obviously,we walked to him and I touched him,he looked back and his face softened immediately he saw us,Sia jumped at her dad ...... I thought she wanted to play with me .....little snitch

"Thank you so much for bringing her Tasha.....he thanked me

"Not a problem,after all she's my sister....I said and pulled her cheek which made her giggle

"Let's play now Tash,you promised me....she said pouting and giving me her puppy eyes

"Okay

I stayed with her all day since she insisted,it was really fun hanging out with your sister at the park,she made me feel like a kid again, doing all sorts with her,I didn't know it was late until Marie called and told me to come over so we could go home together

"'i have to leave now,I had a great time with you guys.....

"Come on, we'll drop you off.....he offered and I accepted because I was scared of walking alone in the dark

He dropped me off at Marie's shop,I waved them off with Sia sticking to me like a glue not wanting to let me go, I walked in and I saw Marie waiting by the table for me,I got in the booth and told her everything that happened today,

We were bout to leave the coffee shop when i heard the voice of the person I've been trying to avoid and still the voice I've been longing for

"Sia????

Did he just call me by my middle name
