Unexpected Love

Chapter 11

I woke up feeling so naseous,my body is so hot and my legs are weak... I rushed to the toilet to throw up the soup since that's the only thing I've taken today
Mom rushed to my room,I guess my stumbling here and there was quite loud,she pulled my hair away from my face so I don't mess it up with my disgusting puking

"You look really awful...she complimented me

"I'm fine,just dizzy... I whispered

"Here,take these...it'll help...she handed me some drugs and I dozed off into darkness again

I woke up feeling way better, got off the bed to do girl's stuff inside the bathroom,i later went downstairs to  watch TV n I decided to go through my texts n calls
I switched on my phone to notice I guessed right, I sure had a lot of messages and calls
I missed you ,text or call me .... Phil
Why ain't you picking your goddamn calls,it's a cell phone for a reason... Xavier
Hey girly...call me.... Maria

I decided to call Phil since I haven't spoken to him in days and I felt extremely bad bout it
"Hey.... I squeaked

"Hey?thats what to a friend you haven't heard from in days? Really Nat?.. he said sadly

"I'm sorry,a lot has been going on...I told him

"Hold that thought,I'll be there in 5 ....he said and the line went dead... Typical him

He walked through the door at exactly 5 minutes later looking handsome as always
"Hey Helen... he greeted my mom and jumped on the couch I was sitting on
"So spill..he urged

I told him everything and he paid complete attention to everything I said and not interrupting me

"I knew you were going to like him but I never knew it's going to be this quick considering how sensitive you are,he's a fool to let you go, don't worry...you'll be fine with time...do you want us to look for another job...he asked

I smiled when he said US,he has always put me first before anything ever since high school, beating someone up just to be in detention with me,not eating from home so he could buy whatever I buy in the school's cafeteria

"I have a boyfriend...he blurted out suddenly

"Wait,you have a boyfriend and you're just telling me, God I'm so happy for you,when will I get to meet him...you're finally dating n I'm single as always.... I yelped happily

"He's an artist and always busy in the gallery but you'll meet him soon...he assured me

We talked and talked about random stuffs,I didn't know I've missed him that much,he  told me how he met him,,their first date... I was already rooting for them,he helped me prepare dinner,we ate together n he left later at night because he had to prepare for work n I had work in the morning too

I had to face whatever it is tomorrow n be done with it once and for all, I went to my room,tucked myself in,I didn't bother changing since I've been wearing my pyjamas all day
I closed my eyes and await for tomorrow with Xavier

I'm sorry I've been feeling really down lately ,I didn't really feel this chapter,I felt off writing this maybe because it didn't include Xavier but it's all good
