The Warrior flung her roller at Delta, but she dodged it easily and kicked her, sending her stumbling backward. Delta smiled and casually sidestepped a shot from the Gunslinger and swung her sword at the Scientist, who was trying to get something from her bag. The Assassin stepped back a few meters, took her aim and shot. She had expected Delta to dodge it, but she didn't even try.

Delta took the hit, stumbled three steps backward, and only grunted a bit when the shot hit her. Red ink immediately started filling up the wound and she smiled at the Assassin, spreading her arms as if to show her the wound closing.

The four of them stared in disbelief as the wound closed itself. not even a scar remained. The Gunslinger unfroze and aimed her dualies at Delta's back. She shot at a rapid rate and all of her shots hit. But Delta didn't even flinch when the ink shot into her back. Delta turned to face the Gunslinger and red ink was starting to fill up the wounds. "It doesn't matter how many times you try, you'll always end up with the same results," she said and laughed. "You can't kill me."

The Warrior growled and flung her roller over her head, trying to strike Delta down. Delta casually blocked it and took a hit from the Scientist's brella. The Gunslinger shot again from her dualies but the wounds she inflicted were immediately healed.

Delta dashed forward, kicking the Gunslinger in the face and sending her flying through the window. She landed on her back and the air was knocked out of her lungs. She gasped, trying to steady her breathing. "You would think that going to Shellside would be relaxing," she thought as she struggled to stand up. "Nothing happens there, I thought. A good place to catch a break I thought. I could have gone to Octopeek."

She was able to stand up, but almost lost her balance immediately. "But noooooo," she thought. "Now I'm fighting a completely new species that's ten times stronger than me and has been toying with us the whole time. And I'm fighting with two complete strangers and a moron. Just great!"

She climbed through the window, the glass shards cutting through her palm as she did so. The situation wasn't bright. The Assassin was lying on her back groaning, her Charger a few feet away. The Scientist was kneeling next to her, giving her something from a flask.

The Warrior was down to one knee, desperately trying to deflect Delta's blows. She was the only thing standing between Delta and the others. The Gunslinger shot again, but Delta didn't even turn around as the shots hit her in the back. The Gunslinger growled. "This isn't working," she thought. "I have to distract Delta before she kills her."

The Gunslinger ran to Delta and kicked her on the back of her knee. Delta hadn't been expecting that and fell down to her knee. The Gunslinger climbed on her back and using her dualies, she punched Delta multiple times in the head. Delta tried to grab her and throw her off, but the Gunslinger locked her feet around Delta's neck and was able to remain on her back, still punching. Delta stopped fighting for a moment. "Did I stun her," the Gunslinger thought. "This is our chance!"

But before she could act, Delta bent down at lightning speed and leaped into the air. She flew high above the ground, so high that the Gunslinger almost hit her head in the ceiling. Delta did a flip midair and threw the Gunslinger off her back, sending her flying towards the ground.

The Gunslinger did a flip as she landed and turned on the spot. Delta had landed in the middle of the room, a few feet away from the four of them. She looked at the Gunslinger, smirking. She winked and disappeared, camouflaging with the environment.

Complete silence fell over the room. The Gunslinger tried to listen for any sound, tried to see if there was something weird about the environment. But no sound was heard and there was no sight of Delta. The Assassin was back on her feet, using her charger as support. The Warrior was also back on her feet but looked exhausted and in pain. Yet she still looked around, scanning for Delta. The Scientist walked up to her and handed her a flask. "Here, drink this," she said. "It'll ease the pain."
