Silently watching the moonlight
pierce through the still waters,
I wonder whether time stops
to marvel at this starry wonder;
as it rocks to the cradle of waves
throwing shimmery beauty around,
its charm spreads to the shore
where treasures lay abound.
I behold the scene in my eyes,
of this irreplaceable night.
A night so perfectly serene
makes me lose my grasp on time,
I wonder if the misty melody
hears my heart sync to its rhymes;
as it calms my robust nerves
tired of pulsating enough,
with magical notes of purity
it showers me with raw love.
I take in the freshness of the scene,
that appears to be a lovely dream.
Dreaming about a perfect moon
kiss the horizon over the sea,
I wonder if they'll meet someday
to end this realistic fantasy;
as the moonlight washes over
the sea and indigo skies,
it shines over the white shore
reminiscent of ocean sighs.
I plead for serenity to continue,
to chase away my silent blues.
