Zak and Darryl were sitting on the couch together. Zak's head leaned on Darryl's chest as he listened to his boyfriend's heartbeat. Darryl's arms were wrapped around Zak, one hand on his waist, the other gently combing through Zak's fluffy hair. There was a movie playing on the TV, but neither of them was really paying attention. They were just enjoying each other.

Eventually, Zak spoke up. "How are we going to tell the fans about this? About us?"

Darryl stopped stroking Zak's hair to think. "I'm not sure, I hadn't really thought about it all that much. We could probably just do a video saying, 'Hey, we're dating now, the shippers were right' and all that."

Zak frowned. "That sounds really simple and kinda boring..." He gasped and sat up suddenly. "I have a 14,000 IQ plan."

——

"Okay, stream is live. Let's wait for the notification to come through... And there we go! WOW, that's a lot of people already," Zak remarked as the Twitch chat became filled with people sending greetings and memes.

"So, you know how I've done these 'Meet My Girlfriend' videos a couple times, but like, it's just some random catfish e-girl?" He giggled as he spoke, remembering the disaster that had occurred with "FavManX766" on Valentine's Day. "Well, uh, this time, it's not like that, I promise! It's an actual person I know IRL. And, uh, she's actually right here next to me! Say hi!" he prompted, gesturing for Darryl, whose lap Zak was currently sitting on, to speak into the microphone.

Darryl smiled and leaned forward slightly. "Hi!" he said in a high-pitched voice to greet the stream's viewers. The chat went insane. "I'm Skeppy's girlfriend, BadBoyHalo!"

Zak gave him a fake look of confusion. "But wait! If you're a girl, then why does it say 'boy' in your name?" he asked in a sarcastic tone.

"Because..." Darryl switched into his normal voice. "I'm not a girl!"

Zak gave a fake gasp. "What? I've been dating a boy this whole time? That's so gay!"

"All homo," Darryl joked, sending Zak into a fit of laughter.

"This is the stupidest thing we've ever done," Zak admitted.

"Well, it was your idea!"

Just then, a donation came through. "so are you two actually a thing or is this a troll 🔰"

"Well, you could've asked that without the meme, but yes! We're actually dating!" Darryl answered. The chat went even more wild than before with people freaking out over the ship becoming true.

"facecam????" a second donation requested.

"Yeah, sure!" Zak responded. "Bad, you okay with that?"

"Yeah, go ahead!"

Zak clicked around for a minute, getting it set up, then turned it on to reveal the two of them. Darryl's arm was wrapped around Zak's shoulder, and Zak was seated on Darryl's lap. The chat was going at a hundred miles per hour. There were many people still trying to wrap their heads around the fact that the situation was real, and half the viewers were begging for the couple to kiss. Zak noticed this and looked up at Darryl, nervous and flustered.

"Do, uh... do you want to-"

Darryl cut him off by leaning down and kissing him on the lips. It was short and sweet, but it was enough to make everyone go insane all over again.

The two turned back to the computer and watched the fast-moving chat for a minute before Darryl suggested, "How about we leave the stream here?"

"Sounds like a good plan," Zak responded.

The two said good-bye to the stream and stopped it. "Well, that was certainly, uh... something," Zak said.

"Yeah. Hey, uh, you didn't mind that I kissed you, did you?"

"No, no, of course not!" Zak reasurred Darryl, standing up and sitting back down, putting his legs between the arm rests and the back of the chair so that he was facing Darryl while sitting. "I really enjoyed it, actually."

"Yeah?" Darryl smiled.

"Yeah," Zak mumbled before kissing Darryl for the second time.
