Alois grinned when the carrige stopped. Y/n looked out of the window wondering where they were.A forest. She turned back to Alois, confusion written all over her face.
He ignored her look and stepped out of the carriage. He turned to her, offering his hand to help her down. When she took it, Alois' grin widened.
"We have to walk the rest of the way. I promise that you'll love it!"
Y/n nodded, even more curious on where he was taking her. She had tried to get him to tell her during the carraige ride but he wouldn't even budge. Also when she questioned on where his butler was he wouldn't give an answer to that either.
Alois quickly led the way, keeping a hold on Y/n's hand. He warned her of any steep steps or if there was some roots sticking out of the ground that she could potentially trip over.
Honestly, he was being so sweet and it made Y/n want to smile, to kiss his cheek to show her appreciation.
But she did nothing of the sort. With Yuma following behind, and watching their interactions closely she had to be careful of what she did, unless she want to be teased by Yuma for hours on end.
"Almost there." Y/n was brought out of her thoughts by those simple words. She looked up at Alois, who was pulling something out of his pocket.
"Do you trust me enough to let me blindfold you?" He questioned, holding up the blindfold he had just pulled from his pocket.
Y/n stared at it. Did she trust him? She looked back up at him, his eyes sparked with hope. Did he want her to trust him that bad?
Y/n didn't say a word, only turning so her back was facing him.
Alois smiled, overjoyed with the fact that she trusted him. He ignored the thought of her only doing this because her butler is with them and would stop him if he tried anything weird on her.
Instead of tying the blindfold around her eyes like Y/n was expecting him to, she felt arms snake around her waist in a hug.
Alois snuggled his head in the crook of her neck, breathing deeply. Oh, how he wanted this to be his life. To marry Y/n and call her his own. So that he could hug her anytime he wanted, so that she would stay by his side.
"Alois?" At his name he quickly broke the hug, deciding against explaining his sudden urges to hold her and never let go. Before she could ask the question he was avoiding, he tied the blindfold over her eyes. He turned Y/n to face him, and held her hand.
"This way," he instructed, leading her down the trail once more.
With her sight now gone, she gripped Alois hand tightly, depending on him to lead her and to not let her fall.
"Careful, that's a steep step. Good job darling, your doing wonderful." Y/n yet again held back another smile.
When they stopped, all of Y/n's senses were on high alert.
"Are we here?"
She heard Alois giggle as the blindfold slipped away from her eyes. The view made her gasp.
A beautiful lake surrounded by colorful trees. She had to wonder what this place would look like in all the other seasons.
Her gaze landed on a picnic that had been set up, Alois' butler Claude standing next to it.
Y/n turned back to Alois, who looked like an excited child.
"I told you that you would love it!" He exclaimed, grabbing her hand and leading her over to the picnic spot that Claude had set up.
