Jay POV

It was quite interesting to watch Ben try to teach (Y/N) to fight. He was great on the team, but one on one, he's the one that needed some help.
"You know better than to give me a sword Ben. Don't you remember what happened last time?" That intrigued me; he'd tried to teach her before? There had to be a great story behind that.

"I know, but you need to learn this first. You can't fight close range with a bow." He swung again, but this time she managed to block it. She was getting better, but the way he was teaching her wasn't going to help her.

"Ben," I shouted to get his attention, "let somebody else teach her. You can see it from her stance and how she swings. Your teaching her how you were taught, but she's smaller than you." He looked at (Y/N), now registering the size and weight difference. "Let Uma or Lonnie teach her, it'll be easy for both you and her." Uma took Ben's sword and patted his back. He stepped back, leaning against the wall next to Mal. Uma took (Y/N)'s sword, and hefted it in her hand.
"Gill, bring me another sword, this one is too heavy." They traded out swords, and with the new one, (Y/N) didn't seem to be struggling to hold it up.  "Follow my lead, act on instincts, let your body move for you." Both girls got into a fighting stance. "Act natural." Uma swung her sword, and (Y/N) blocked it right away. This went on for a short while until they were at a stand still. They had so much force placed on their swords, that if they moved them, it would cause and injury to both girls. With a loud thud, Uma was on the cobblestone floor of the courtyard where they had been fighting. "Looks like this princess knows how to play dirty." Uma had a grin on her face, you could see the pride glowing on her face. Ben seemed shocked, his expression telling all his emotions. Uma had gotten up and started to walk away, then suddenly (Y/N) and Uma's swords were locked in a battle again. I had no ideal that (Y/N) could fight like such a villain; she seemed to know all the basics already. I will say it, having watched the tourney team for years, and now being able to watch pirates fight on their deck. She Learned from watching and doing, not from being taught.

"Seems (Y/N)'s learned some tricks from you Harry." He smiled and moved to stand next to me.

"I guess so." He was smiling at her, watching how easily she moved, blocking with ease. "I've taught her a little before, her and Gill spare together sometimes. But I knew I wouldn't be able to teach her fully. She needed help that I didn't know how to give." Uma had gotten (Y/N) on the ground, a smile on both of their faces. Uma went to help her up, but (Y/N) pulled her down and unarmed her.
"Always expect the unexpected." Uma smiles at (Y/N) seeming to be impressed.

"I see Harry has rubbed off on you. I think that's enough for today." They pulled each other up, Uma's arm across (Y/N)'s shoulders.

"She's won her respect. I wasn't able to do that until almost three years ago." Harry ruffles (Y/N)'s hair when she walked over to us. Thunder cracked again, but it was farther away now, not as close as before. We headed back inside, it was getting dark out, and we all silently agreed it was better to be inside than out. Harry, Ben, Carlos, and I went around the outside of the castle court yards and light all the old candle lights that were there. After that, we checked every door, every gate, every window, to make sure they were locked and shut. That way if those creatures get over the main gate, there would be no chance they could get in. As we ate, we tried to figure out the best plan of action to hide from Maleficent. We knew the castle wouldn't keep us hidden forever, she would come here eventually, so we had to be ready.

(Y/N) POV

After awhile of throwing out ideas that went nowhere, we decided to go to bed. But I didn't want to go to bed, I was in no way or shape tired. I was wide awake. But that was because I didn't want to sleep in that room alone. It was farther away from everyone else, and it had a direct view to the main gate; where those things were.
