Your POV
Once again, was was in the shadow of my brother, Ben. King Ben, to be exact, and his fiancé Mal. I love them both dearly, but I was always put to the side when they were around, And never got the attention I wanted.
I zoned back in as fairy god mother dropped the barrier, and let the villains out. I wasn't too excited at First, but then I remembered what Mal had said about the Island, that it had a fearsome crew of pirates. I have to admit, I had a huge grin on my face, I wanted to meet them. I started towards the stairs, to follow Mal and Ben towards the Villains, but I was stopped. It was lumire, I knew the look he gave me meant I wasn't aloud to go down. I'm not as helpless as they all think. I went back to where I was standing, where I could just barely see over the balcony. I saw a glimpse of a pirate hat, and a red coat, but that's all I got to see before I was ushered away and back to the castle.
I sat by my window, that over looked the gardens. There was a light knock my door.
"Come in." I simply replied not bothering to look who it was.
Mal stepped into the room, and strode toward me. "What did you think of the people from the Island." She asked
"I don't know Mal," I paused," I wasn't allowed to see them. I was ushered away before I was able to see anyone. They never let me do anything, just sit and look pretty, I hate it."
Mal seemed shocked, she put a hand on my shoulder, but I brushed it off.
"I'll talk to Ben and see what I can do." With that, Mal turned and left the room. I looked out of my window, just to see the blackness of night. I closed the curtains and got ready for bed, but I struggled to fall asleep.
Mal POV
after I left (Y/N)'s room, I went immediately to find Ben, which was easy. I knocked gently on his office doors, and heard a soft come in. I opened it to see him putting away bens and notes.
"I need to talk to you about something." Mal said leaning on the door frame.
"What is it dear." Ben asked standing up and walking towards her.
"Did you know (Y/N) wasn't aloud to see the barrier drop, no did she get a chance to see what the people of the Isle look like. No one allowed her to see them, she was barley even there for our speech's." Mal stated.
Ben looked shocked just as Mal was earlier.
"Everyone always try's to protect her, I'll speak to everyone about it, she would not be hidden, she should have a chance at a life of her own."
Mal rested her head on Ben's chest, then they headed to bed, to face a new dawn the next day.
~~~~~~~~~~the next day, at dawning~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Third Person POV
Ben had talked to the servants of the castle, making sure they understood. (Y/N) had woken up early, after a restless night of sleep. She got up and dressed in a flouncy emerald green top, with a plaid skirt and tall boots.
She grabbed her book bag, and left her room for the day.
(Y/N) POV
I skipped breakfast this morning, I didn't want to see them. It's not that I was mad, I just didn't understand why I couldn't see what the people from the Isle looked like.
I left the castle, and for once, not a soul stopped me. I climbed upon my scooter, a lot like Mals except for the color. I put on my helmet and started to on my way towards Auradon Prep.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Time skip to Lunch~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I didn't know where to sit, my usual table was taken. I sat under a tree instead, away from the others, not wanting to be bothered by them. I saw a flash of bright red, followed by sea blue.
"Hey" a girl stood above me, dressed in pirate garb, with blue and black hair. I recognized her as Uma, the pirate captain from the Isle.
"H-hey." You reply, mentally kicking your self for stuttering.
She sat down in front of me, her companion in a red leather jacket sat next to her. "What are you doing sitting all alone." She asked.
"I don't know half the people here, and most of the ones I do know, I don't like. So I sit alone." You explained.
"well," Umas companion said," would ye mind if we sat with ya lassie." Her had a thick accent, I couldn't place where it was from but I liked it.
"Sure," I said with a warm smile," What's your name, I know your Uma, I've heard Mal talk about you before. And by the Jacket and the hook, I'm guessing your related Captain Hook some how."
Uma has a smile on her face, the her friend spoke," Harry Hook, his son. What's you name lassie." Harry asked.
"(Y/N), (Y/N) Beast." You reply.
"so your Bens sister." Uma asked.
I nodded and smiled, it then started down in a heavy rain. The other kids scattered towards the building, but the three of us stayed where we are.
"see what I mean, they run like their made of sugar and are gonna melt if they get wet. Most of them aren't even close to being that sweet." Harry and Uma chuckled. We stood to go inside, and it rained harder, and it started to become cold.
I shivered, and Harry took off his jacket and handed it to me.
"but it's yours Harry."
"I'd rather you have it, besides, your skin is ice cold." He had a warm smile on his face, I still couldn't get over his accent. I gently took it from him and put it on, then we booked it back to the building. When we got inside, I tried to give it back to him, but he wouldn't accept it. As Harry and Uma walked away, I couldn't help but feel myself fall for the son of Captain Hook.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~End of the school day~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was shoving books into my bag, when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned to see Harry, and I immediately felt a blush creep upon my cheeks.
"I wanted to ask, if you'd like to hang out later," Harry said smiling," it's fine if not."
"I would love too." I said placing my hand on his arm," where would you like me to meet you, and what time."
"Four o'clock, by the docks." He replied.
"I'll see you there then Harry." I smiled at him, and I thought I say a tint of blush on his cheeks.
we parted ways, and then I ran all the way to Evie's home.
