Ben POV

I followed after (Y/N) and Harry, presuming that they had headed to the library, to learn more about the creatures that in habit this lake. And of course, I was right. The rest of our friends had followed along behind us, interested in what we could find in the library. (Y/N) at one point must have stopped to change, now wearing a yellow button down with the sleeves rolled up, a mossy green skirt that ended just above her knees, and a pair of gladiator sandals. She'd pulled her hair back from her face, her satchel draped over a chair. She was handing books to Harry, who would then set the books on different tables, according to what the books were for. After she was done tossing books down, she began scanning through them, writing in a large note book, drawing diagrams and maps, making small pictures of different items, and multiple different lists of what seemed to be supplies. But she made the most notes from one book, I couldn't see the cover, But Mal recognized that it was a spell book, a powerful one at that. She scribbled something down on a smaller notepad and tore it off, setting it off to the side.
"Mal, do you mind if I see your spell book?" Mail handed it to (Y/N), who quickly began looking for something. (Y/N)'s hand was flying across the pages as she wrote, transferring from the spell book to her note book.
"What time is it?" She was still writing, but with increased speed.

"Almost 12:30." Doug replied quickly. She nodded, taping the notes she had just written into her book. (Y/N) passed the spell book back to Mal.

"If you don't mind me asking (Y/N), why did you need my spell book?"

(Y/N) POV

"That thunder we've been hearing, is a show of how angry Maleficent is. But she can't find us because of a protective bubble that MerryWeather put around the entire estate." I smiled at her. "And what better way to defeat the mistress of all evil, than by using her own magic against her?" I pushed my notes towards her, and she began to look them over.

Mal nodded, "How did you come up with this? I wouldn't have thought of this in a million years."

"A childhood full of cartoons." I turned towards Evie. "Do you still have those gumdrops? They work as good earplugs, and I couldn't decipher is they creatures we're meeting with are merfolk or sirens." She set them on the table, pulling them from I don't know where. We each grabbed two, putting them in our pockets for later. We headed upstairs to grab lunch, after we cleaned up the library.

Shellia POV

The Kelpie rarely ventured this far into our territory with out a good reason. So when I and my family saw it, we knew something was going on. It had brought a note. I read the first part, and almost threw it away because it was from a princess. But one word caught my attention; Maleficent. This princess, wanted to meet with us. She was trying to defeat the Mistress of Evil. Which I thought was quite comical. But then the Kelpie interjected.

"She wears the ring of Magic. I've seen it work, it's powerful, and she uses it effortlessly."

"We'll go to see her." I looked at the rest of my family that has assembled behind me. "If the ring has chosen her, then we must listen when she calls." They nodded in response, placing things away and preparing for the small journey. "But who exactly is this princess?"

"Princess (Y/N), from the kingdom of Auradon, the Beasts daughter. She has come her with many others; both children of hero's, and children of villains."

"Who are the rest of the children? Are they all good? Or are the child like their parents?" My mothers worried voice asked from behind me.

"11 children beside the princess have come. I know there names from when I heard them speak to each other, and their parents, you can tell by their looks. Would you like for me to tell you?" The Kelpie asked excitedly, I nodded in response, my family listening again.

"Doug, son of the dwarf Dopey, Evie, Daughter of the Evil Queen. Mal, daughter of Maleficent, Carlos, son of Cruella De Vill. Jay, son of Jafar, Jane, Daughter of the Fairy GodMother. Lonnie, daughter of Mulan, Gil, son of Gaston. Harry, son of Captain Hook, Uma, daughter of Ursula. An King Ben, (Y/N)'s brother. Along with the three good fairies." I nodded, shocked that they would get along together. "They are all really nice, you can't feel a single once of Evil in them."

"Let's go then, we'll see for our selves what kinda of people they really are."

(Y/N) POV

We were waiting by the water. Evie, Carlos, Jane, Gil, Doug, and Ben were sitting on the stairs. While Uma, Harry, Lonnie, Jay, and I were by the water, waiting for the creatures arrival. The water shifted, I could see objects moving beneath it. With a small splash, 7 Merfolk popped up from underneath the water. 1 swam forward, she had golden hair, and deep blue eyes. Her skin was perfectly tanned, she wore a crown made of shells. Her tail was orange, the same scales covering her chest in place of shells. She wore pearl necklaces, and golden rings. I knelt before her, on both my knees at the edge of the water. She eyed me with apprehension, but I gave her a soft smiled and bowed my head to her, and I could see the look of shock on her face.
"I'm princess (Y/N) of the Auradon kingdom." I spoke softly, as to not scar her. "I wish to ask for your knowledge of this place, so we can better protect it from Maleficent. We mean no harm, and I apologize for such short notice. Until today, I was not aware that anything lived in the lake." I lifted my head, and the woman wore a soft smile at my kindness. "We have a gift for you," I turned to Harry and he set it gently in my hands. It was a necklace of beaded coral, with a shell pendent in the center, incrusted in jewels  that glittered in the light of the sun. I extended my cupped hands toward her, the hem of skirt falling into the water. She took the necklace from my hands and placed it on, it matched her scales perfectly.
"Thank you. I'm Queen Shellia, and these are my people." She gestured behind her, to which I bowed my head again, acknowledging their presence. "We have very little context of time here, will you please tell me what has been going on in the outside world?"

I nodded and began the story
