Jennie's pov

We are now having a barbeque in the grass field outside of the hotel. The cold wind of the night sky, the smell of the burning meats, and the sounds of students chatting.

It is the perfect atmosphere for a barbeque party. Also, a great opportunity for a confession.

I have been thinking, if dahyun say that she don't like kai.... Than, that means it's fine for me to confess to him, right? So i decided to confess today.

Me and dahyun are in charge of cooking in our group. While kai and tae are in charge of cleaning and washing.

While cooking, i always took a glance at him once in a while. I won't lie, kai is really hot. Even i think kai is the hottest guy is school.

Sometimes i am really jealous, seeing how close dahyun and kai are. But i realize that dahyun is just comfortable to talk with. She is kind and understanding. So it's not weird if kai is comfortable being around her. Because i also feel that way when i'm around dahyun.

"Jennie! Yah! The meat is burning!" Dahyun shout, which snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Wahh! Mian!" I shout as i took the meat out from the cooker.

"Why are you spacing out? Are you not feeling well?" Dahyun say in a worried expression.

"No. I'm just thinking about something." I say.

"Oh. Okay then." Dahyun say as she sigh in relieve.

"Anyway, all of them are cooked. Let's eat." I say as i took two large plate filled with cooked meats.

The teachers already prepare a picnic table. One for each group. So i took the plates to our spot, while dahyun called the guys who are washing the cabbages.

"Wahhh! Let's eat!" Taehyung exclaim as he sees two piles of meat on their table.

"Oo~ never thought you two could cook like this~" kai say as he munch on the food.

Then the four of us just talk to each other about our selfs as we eat our dinner.

After we finish our dinner, me and kai went to the washing area, while dahyun and taehyung are cleaning the table.

It's been quiet. Kai didn't say a thing to me. Well, there is nothing to talk about anyway.

After we're done with the washing, Kai was about to walk away. But i quickly grabbed his hand which startle him.

"Aish! You startle me!" He say.

"Mian~mian~" i say.

"So? What is it? You slipped or something?" He asked.

I didn't respond. I lower my head and took a deep breath to calm my self. "It's now or never" i told my self.

"Let's talk." I say.

"Uh, we are talking." Kai say, confused.

"I mean, alone." I say, since there are a lot of people around who are washing their dishes too.

Kai just nod and we went into some kind of forest located at the back of the hotel.

"So? What's wrong?" He asked.

"Sigh... Okay! First thing first, i want to warn you that what i'm gonna say might ruin our friends ship. I know i am being selfish right now, but i want us to keep our friends ship, whatever happen." I say. Cold sweat started appearing on why neck. I am really nervous.

"O..kay?" Kai say in confusion.

"I....like you..." I say in a very low volume.

"What? I can't hear it." Kai say.
