Dahyun's pov

I wake up this morning feeling energized. I stretched my body before i went to the bath room to take a shower. After i put on my school uniform, i stand in front of the floor mirror. I look at my reflection in the mirror.

Today will be the last day i will ever wear this.

I shook the thoughts from my head and quickly went to the dining room where my grandparents are waiting for me.

I greet them and then we eat our breakfast. After that, i went to school. My grandparents say that they can come with me, but i say that it's fine.

....

Once i enter the school grounds, i saw all kind of decorations filling the whole school. All kinds of flowers are there to decorate the school. Ribbons and balloons are also there.

I went to my class to find my friends. And there they are. I smiled and went towards them. I greet them and they replied me with a cheerful greeting. We talked for a moment but soon the teachers called us to gather at the school hall. Which means the graduation ceremony will soon start.

All of us went to the hall and took a seat. Then, the third years students came up to the stage. There they are, Sana, Eunwoo, and Vernon. They looked amazing.

After their representative finished his speech, the principal continued with his speech, and it all ended with the speech from the second and the first year's representative. After that, the kids are free to talk and say goodbye to their seniors.

"Sana, eunwoo, vernon! Congrats!" Kai say.

"Thanks. I can't believe we will leave this school now. Time does flow so fast." Eunwoo say.

"Btw, i have heard about your problems. Are you okay now, tae, dah?" Sana say.

"We're fine." Tae say.

"Hyun, I heard that you got scouted by Jyp entertainment?" Vernon say.

"Yeah. Wae?" I say.

"Sana also got scouted to that ent. So i guess you'll be in the same entertainment." Vernon say.

"Wah! Jinjja?!" I shout.

Sana nodded and the both of us jump in happiness.

After that, we talked a lot about some random stuff, before we finally have to take tae to the airport. The three senior said that they wish to send him off, but they can't leave the school just yet. Tae say that it's okay. So now only the three of us that will send him off.

We went to the airport by kai's car. In the car, we talked with each other about the times we spend together, not waisting a single second.

After we arrived, the plane tae was supposed to board was about to take off. So we rushed to the boarding gate. When he was about to enter the gate, he turned back and gave us a quick group hug. Then he run back and enter the gate.

Jennie cried. I know that she has been the one who always try to keep our friendship going. I know that she is the one who is afraid for losing this friendship.

Kai hugged her and pat her back to calm her. While me, i can just see him leave. His back slowly disappear. But i don't want any regrets. I clench my fist and shout to reach him.

"Tae!"

He heard it, and turned around.

I hesitated for a second, but then, i mouthed, "i love you".

He understand it, and his face turned red. He's blushing. But then he cover it up with his last smile before he leaves my sight.

He's gone. He is away from me now. I wish i could ran to him and hug him tight, and ask him to stay. But i can't. Because i know this is for the best.

Knowing the reality, tears started to flow. I know the second i let him go, i am taking the risk of never seeing him ever again. And i don't want that to happen. But i don't have any right to stop him.

I couldn't stop sobbing. But crying won't do me any good. So i wipe away my tears and stoped my cries. I stare at the plane that was taking off. The plane which was taking taehyung away. When the plane finally take off to the blue sky, a smile formed on my lips. A bitter smile, which soon turn into a genuine one.

From now on, i will work hard to become an idol. That way, one day, you will see me on the stage. No matter where you are.

I turn around and walk away. I came back to jennie and kai and they both looked at me with questioning look, but i just gave them a smile. Seeing that, jennie who was crying couldn't help but also smile.

That's right, crying won't change anything. As long as we work hard, one day, we will be able to find him.

After that the three of us went home.

In the car, jennie fell asleep. She must be tired from crying. So the two of us let her sleep and left the car in complete silence. Kai is sitting at the front beside the driver, while me and jennie sit at the back.

As the car went further from the airport, i look back. I smiled, and mumbled.

"Well, we'll meet again. For now, goodbye, my first love."
