Taehyung's pov

"Do you think you can just give up on your life like that? Do you think you are the only unfortunate kid out there who has her mother on the hospital bed? There are other people who has worsts conditions than yours. So don't act like you can't live anymore. Cause it's annoying."

What's her problem?! She slapped me and now she say all of that?!

"Dahyun? Why did you...?" Jennie say.

What the heck's wrong with her?! She don't even know how i feel. What rights does she have to say that?!

"What do you know about it?! Do you know how it feels to almost lose someone you love?! When you can't even do anything to save your love ones?!" I shout as tears started to flow down my cheeks.

Jennie and kai are both looking at me with pity in their eyes, but when i saw dahyun, she expressions darkens. For a second it make me regret ever saying that.

"Then let me ask you, DO YOU KNOW THE FEELING OF LOSING THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE MOST?! ALMOST LOST THE PERSON WHO IS PRECIOUS TO YOU?! DO YOU KNOW THE FEELING OF BEING LEFT ALONE IN THIS WORLD?! DO YOU KNOW THE FEELING OF LOSING BOTH OF YOUR PARENTS IN ONE DAY?! WELL DID YOU EVER HEAR ME WHINE?! HAVE YOU EVER SEE ME CRY?! HAVE YOU EVER SEE ME GIVING UP ON MY LIFE?! YOU ARE JUST A SELFISH BRAT WHO ONLY FOCUS ON YOUR SELF!" She shout before she storm out from the room.

"Dahyun, wait!" I could hear jennie calling her.

I am speechless. What have i've done......

I didn't know her parents were..... Gone.

Sh*t! I feel like a total trash.

"....her parents....died?" Kai mumbled.

"J-jennie? Did you know anything about this?" I say.

"....no. She didn't tell me anything about it." Jennie say shaking her head.

"Why? I thought she said we're friends....." Kai mumbled.

"....why.... Why does the old dahyun came back....? She already opens up to us. But now she's back to the dahyun that builds walls around her." Jennie say in sad tone.

".....it's all my fault. I shouldn't have whined. Her pain was greater, yet she still came here to help me, while all i do is whine." I say lowering down my head.

"Kai, can you take care of tae? I'll go look for her." Jennie say.

Kai nodded and jennie ran out to find dahyun.

I keep my head low. I can't look kai in the eye right now. I feel like a total jerk.

What have you've done, tae? I smacked my self mentally.

"Tae. Here, eat this first. She will be more furious if you pass out cause of hunger again." Kai say handing me a lunch box.

I opened the lunch box and started eating. I am planning to go look for dahyun after i eat to apologize. Just then, my phone ranged.

Jennie's pov

I have been looking for dahyun all around the hospital, but there's no sign of her. She couldn't have gone far. There is no bus in this hour, also taxi are not allowed to get in to the hospital, so she couldn't have gone far.

I went to the back of the hospital, where there is a park, and then, i hear something.

A song? Someone's singing?

It is a very soft voice, and i think this voice is familiar so i peeked to the garden, where the song was coming from, and i saw dahyun.

I was about to go to her, but a man, dressed in a black suit came up to her. He seems to gave her something. Dahyun seems a bit hesitant but she accept it. She sees what the man gave her and gave a shocked expression. She said something to the man and the man replied, then they bowed to each other before the man takes his leave.
