Dahyun's pov
As expected. When i woke up at the morning, the atmosphere was awkward as heck. Kai has been quietly playing with his phone. Tae has been trying to avoid both kai and jennie. And jennie has been hiding in the bathroom for almost about one hour. And me? I am stressed as f*ck! I can't handle this kind of situation. I hate this atmosphere!
Suddenly, my phone ranged. I quickly took it and saw the dialer. It is sana!
"Annyeon? Sana unnie!" I say.
[Annyeon dahyun~ what's with you? You sounds so excited.] She say with a chuckle.
"Nevermind that. Where are you now?"
[I am in the hotel's lobby. We're checking in.]
"Okay! We're on our way there!" I say excitedly then hangs up.
"Guys. Let's go to the lobby. Sana and the others are here." I say.
"Can you go by your self? I don't want to walk." Kai say without looking away from his phone.
"I'll go with you." Tae say as he stands up from the bed.
"Jennie! Are you gonna come?" I ask.
"No! I haven't finished showering!" Jennie say from inside of the bathroom.
"Fine. Then i'll go with tae. Don't fight in the room, okay?" I say in teasing tone.
"We won't!" The both of them shout in the same time.
I just chuckle and went to the lobby with tae.
"Sana unnie! Eunwoo oppa! Vernon oppa! Over here!" I shout as soon as i spot them.
"Oh! Dahyunie!" Sana say.
"Where are the others?" Vernon ask.
"In the room." Tae say.
"Aish... Didn't they miss us?" Eunwoo say. But the two of us just look down. And i guess sana noticed. But she didn't ask anything.
"Anyway, these guys and i will go to our room first. After this we will have a free time, right? Let's go to the river together." Sana say.
Right. Yesterday on the tour, i saw a big river. Though i am crying for help at that time, i can still notice that river. It is not that far from the hotel so i guess it will be fun to go there.
"Okay. I'll go get my backpack first. Also that two people." I say.
"Okay. See you guys here then." Eunwoo say as the three of the leave.
"Let's go." I say.
Then the two of us also went away.
....
"We're back!" I shout, startling jennie and kai.
"Why so happy?" Kai ask.
"Sana invite us to go to the river together. Let's go." I say.
"No. Just go by your self." Kai say.
"Yah! Stop acting like a little kid! Your attitude is really annoying!" Tae say.
"So what? It's none of your business." Kai say coldly.
Tae just walk away.
"I think i won't join this one." Jennie say.
"No! You all will come with me." I say.
"Why are you being so bossy? It's annoying." Kai say looking annoyed.
"Ck. Oy. Kai. You come with me." I say.
"What?" He say.
"I say~ COME.WITH.ME." I say with threatening tone.
"Okay! Okay!" Kai say as he come with me outside.
....
"So? Care to tell me what really happen yesterday?" I say as i cross my hands in front of my chest.
"Ck. Fine~ so, at first jennie drags me to the forest behind this hotel. She confessed to me. But then Katherine was there and heard jennie confessing. She started talking nonsense saying that she will kill her. I was scared that she will harm jennie. Jennie is my friend.... And...." He says.
"And...?" I say raising one of my eyebrow.
"I.... Like her. I want to protect her. I'm afraid that Katherine will harm her." He says.
I am speechless. I am so sorry to tae. I guess he really has no hope.
....
Jennie's pov
It is really awkward in here ever since kai and dahyun went out. Taehyung didn't even say anything.
"Hey... Uh? Tae?" I say.
"What?" He say coldly.
"I am sorry. I didn't know that you have that kind of feelings for me." I say.
"That's right. You should be sorry." Tae say.
"Huh?" I can't believe tae just said that. I should have? Well i did, but how he said it just annoys me.
"Well, that's what i wanted to say, but in reality, it's none of your fault. It's my fault for not confessing to you. I mean, i don't confess, then how can you know about my feelings, right?" Tae say with a smile.
"Tae.... I'm sorry." I say. Tears started to flow through my cheek. Seeing me cry, tae just hugs me. The hug is not from a guy who hugs his crush, but a guy that's trying to calm his friend.
"I am so grateful to have a great friends like you, dahyun, and kai." I say between my sobs.

Dahyun's pov
"Sigh... Okay, so let me get one thing straight. So you've been acting so annoying this whole time, it's because you're under pressure? Really?" I say.
"Sorry. I know i'm acting like sh*t. I'm just stressed." He says.
"That's not an excuse, you know." I say.
"I know. That's why i am so sorry." He say.
"Sigh.... It's okay. But don't worry too much. I will never let anyone harm my friends." I say.
"Okay.... Thanks dahyun." He says.
"Okay! So now~! Let's meet up with sana at the others!" I say as i drags him into the room.
Then i remember. What about jennie and tae? Thinking about that makes me lose my excitement. But to my surprise, when i enter the room, they both are happily chatting with each other like nothing happened.
"So you two are finally not awkward any more?" I say.
"Well, yeah." Taehyung say.
"Can we go meet sana and the others now?" I say.
"Okay. Let's pack our backpack first. Do we need swim suit?" Jennie say.
"No." Both guys say.
Jennie just chuckle and went to pack her stuff. So do i and the guys.
I just hope that the trip to the river won't go wrong.
