The Girl With Angel Wings

Chapter 9

It was the night Miley was supposed to meet Gabe. But this time, she had a little surprise for him. For this, she made sure she looked fabulous. Jane helped her with that of course. Miley's smile never once dropped.

The clock struck 00:00. Miley finished with final touches and thanked her mother for helping. After that, she opened her door wide open and flew right away. This time, she made sure to get there before him.

Unfortunately, she came a little bit too early as she had to wait about 20 minutes before he showed up. As soon as he did, Miley greeted him with a hug and a kiss. Gabe found it odd that she was more excited than ever.

She gently took him by the hand and looked into his eyes.

>>I have a surprise for you.<< she said.

>>Oh really?<< he asked and she nodded.

Before Gabe could ask any more questions, Miley put her arm around his shoulder and flew up. He started panicking, thinking he's too heavy for her to hold him. When he looked at Miley, he calmed down instantly and took a look around him.

>>This is my first time being this high up in the sky. It's very beautiful.<< he said, amazed by the view.

Miley smiled at the boy and flew faster which startled him. He noticed the city getting farther away and was confused. He thought that the flight was his surprise but now he knows, she has more in her mind.

After 15 minutes, a large house came to view. He guessed it was her house but still didn't know why would she bring him here. Unless, of course, she wants to introduce him to someone, like her parents. That's apsurd considering everything. Is it?

As they were reaching the house, Miley made sure not to hurt him while landing. She gently put him on the balcony and landed roughly herself. She shook her wings and released lots of feathers.

>>Uhhh, Miley? What are we doing here? More importantly, what am I doing here?<< he asked.

Miley giggled at seeing him confused. 'Cute' she thought.

>>I told my parents everything and well... I want to introduce you to them. Is that okay?<< she looked at him cutely.

>>Since I'm already here, guess we can do that.<< he smiled at her and she returned it.

>>Come, they're waiting for us.<<

She took his hand and led them to the living room. With each step, Gabe sweated more and more, his heart beating rapidly at the thought of just speaking with her father. He doesn't want to fuck it up.

Before he knew it, they were standing in front of her parents, holding hands. Miley noticed how nervous he was by feeling how sweaty his palms were. She held his hand tightly, hoping it will calm him.

But it just had the opposite effect. Gabe could feel the stare of her father and his hands were sweating even more. He started feeling suffocated by the air itself.

>>Mom! Dad! This is Gabe!<< Miley said excitingly and proudly.

>>Hello Gabe, it's nice to finally meet you. I'm Jane.<< Jane said and shook hands with him.

Gabe looked at James and held out a hand. James didn't want to do it at first but Jane nudged him to the side and just looked at him, making a 'tch' sound. Which meant 'behave' and James learned that the hard way.

He shook hands with the boy.

>>James. Let's talk outside.<< he said.

Before Gabe could answer, he was already being pulled outside. He turned back to look at Miley and plead for help but all she did was giggle and wave at him, mouthing a 'good luck'. With that, the two guys disappeared behind a door which led to the backyard.

>>Is he going to be okay?<< Miley asked looking at the two through a window above the kitchen sink.

>>I didn't know he was going to do this. I can only say that you have to think positive. Your father can't kill him, we are the witnesses.<< Jane winked at her daughter.

>>Oh yeah, sure. Like that's stopping him.<< Miley said.

After a few seconds of silence, they started giggling. Half an hour turned into an hour, Miley was beginning to panic. She was just joking earlier, she didn't really mean it. She kept trying to think positive but would always go back to her father murdering Gabe.

15 minutes later, the door opened revealing Gabe and James laughing together. Miley and Jane exchanged an amazed and surprised look. James put a hand on Gabe's shoulder.

>>You're a good kid. Don't hurt my daughter.<< he said and walked over to his love and kissed her on the cheek.

Gabe was left standing by the door and scratching his head. Miley walked over to him and grabbed his hand.

>>Let's walk.<< she said and he nodded instantly.

The two bid their goodbyes to the girl's parents and went out. Hand in hand, they walked through the enormous backyard, looking at the stars. Honestly, Gabe was just watching Miley the entire time and smiling.

She didn't notice it at first but when she turned to face him, their eyes met and he averted his gaze while blushing.

>>You're cute.<< she said and made him blush even more.

She felt an arm around her waist and was suddenly pulled forward. She closed her eyes and embraced herself, waiting for her ass to kiss the ground but it didn't happen. She slowly opened her eyes and was met with Gabe's smiling face.

>>You're even cuter.<< he said and gently put his lips on hers.

Her heart melted in that moment as he lifted her up, not breaking the kiss. He was always gentle towards her. He never tried to deepen the kiss, knowing it might make her uncomfortable or scared nor did he ever try anything more than just a kiss.

After a few moments, Gabe broke the kiss and looked into Miley's loving eyes.

>>There's something I need to tell you Miley...<< he said and sighed.

>>What is it?<< she asked worriedly.

>>Miley I... I want you to know that I... I just...<< he sighed once more and continued >>I love you Miley.<< he finished and smiled.

Miley was speechless and shocked. She just stood there like a statue. It wasn't until Gabe's smile started to disappear that she snapped out of it.

>>Gabe I...<<

>>It's okay if you don't love me back, I mean...love's stupid, who needs it.<< he cut her off.

>>No silly, I love you too.<< she said and put her hands on his cheeks.

>>Oh thank God.<< he said which ended in both of them laughing.

They kissed once more under the moonlight. From all of the kisses they shared, this one set Gabe's heart and soul on fire. They were both the happiest they ever were.
