3th POV
It was a friday night around 8pm. Mal was at that point 26 weeks already. She was walking through the hallways back to her dorm after watching the science contest Evie had participated in, when she felt something in her stomach. Not something bad, actually the exact opposite.
She didn't think twice and immediately ran to Ben's dorm. Without even knocking first she just stormed into the room.
'Ben! You have to fee-,' but she stopped talking immediately when she saw Audrey looking at her with a questioning face.
'Uhm, can I maybe see you outside in the hall please, Ben?' she asked then.
'Sure,' he said and stood up.
Audrey looked a little upset at him as they were in the middle of a conversation.
'I'll be back in a minute,' he said quickly and walked through the door, closing it behind him.
Audrey silently opened the door a little bit, just so she could peek through gap.
'So, what's up?' Ben asked her, standing a few feet from the door.
'The baby is finally kicking!' she said excitedly.
'Really?! O my god!' Ben said happily. 'Can I feel?'
'Of course you can,' Mal said.
Ben carefully put his hand on her bump and then he felt their baby kick.
'O my god...' he whispered emotionally.
Since the baby was a little smaller than it was supposed to be (which was according to their doctor not that bad that they should worry about it), the kicking began also later than normally.
(still not a doctor so this is probably not even how it works, but let's just go with this lol)
He then hugged her smiling as Mal hugged back with a few tears rolling down her face.
'Are you crying?' Ben asked when they got out of their hug.
'Sorry, it's the hormones,' she said wiping the tears from her face while smiling. 'I'm just so relieved. I mean, I know doctor Lynch told us not to worry, but I didn't feel completely at ease.'
'Me neither actually,' he confessed.
'What? You seemed so chill and unworried about it,' Mal said.
'I know, but I wasn't. I just tried to seem reassured about it so I wouldn't worry you,' he said.
'Naww, that's so sweet,' she said smiling, while giving him another hug.
Ben hugged her even tighter and neither one of them let go until-
'Ben, are you coming?' Audrey asked, done with this mushy stuff.
Ben and Mal quickly loosened their hug.
'Yeah, I'm coming,' he told her. 'I'll see you tomorrow, okay?'
'See ya,' she said with a smile and then walked back to her dorm.

'I can't believe the baby's finally finally kicking,' Evie said with her hand on Mal's stomach.
'I know,' Mal said.
'You don't mind me touching your belly, do you?' Evie asked her.
'No, of course I don't mind you touching my belly, but right now your hand's kind of blocking the part where the baby's gonna come out,' she said while taking Evie hand and sliding it to a higher part.
