Kristen Fletcher, Eliza Dane, Calliope Fletcher, Sayla clane, Hattie Harite , and Raylynn Yowlly are best friends and big band geeks, but will they be able to stick together and handle it when something big happens to them
(August 21st) "Calli, Kris get up it's almost time for school."my mothers voice shakes me up. I hop out of bed and throw my messy curls into a bun. "girls get up" she yells again.
"We're up mom."I yell as I walk to my closet to pick out my outfit for the first day of junior year.

After getting dressed I go to Kris's room"Hey sis you up we have to leave in ten minutes." Kris gives me a thumbs up from behind her door. "Is it to early to talk now" I joke about her silence.
"Shut up"she scoffs while throwing a shoe at me. luckily I dodged it and laugh at her attempt to hit me. I turn around and go to my bathroom. After about 5 minutes I finish putting my hair in a high pony. Once I'm done I use a cleansing wipe on my face and grab my chapstick.
I walk out of the bathroom and into my room and grab my guard bag and double check it. I've got my tape, gloves, inhaler,dot book, Band-Aids, clothes, and most importantly snacks. "Kris you ready to go." I yell as throw both bags over my shoulder.
"Yeah I'm ready" she says exiting her room in front of me."how do I look?"she adds.

"Like you"I laugh "do you have your stuff for practice?" I ask making sure we're good to go. She lifts her bag up and gives me an eye roll. She then throws her bags over her shoulder and we walk down stairs. We grab our water jugs and head to leave. "Bye mom love you."I yell and grab my keys.
"Bye momma love you."Kris yells after her as she grabs her keys. We walk out of the house and towards our cars. "Okay so I'm going to pick up Mike, Mikey, and Lynn and then we'll grab some donuts."
"Okay I'm going to grab Laya and then we'll grab Starbucks tell them to text me what they want." I smile while we get into our cars. I throw my bags in the back seat and set the jug down in the back next to them. I sit up straight and turn the car on and turn the car on and roll the windows down. Kris waves as she pulls out of the driveway and drives off. I pull out of the driveway and head to pickup Laya it's a short drive as she just lives a couple blocks away. I pull up to her house and give her a call." Hey chickadee I'm." She hangs up and I see her walk out her house, and hops in my car throwing her stuff next to mine." We're getting Starbucks then school. Okay?" I smile
"Oooh Starbucks, that sounds awesome I've been kinda sick lately." She says tiredly.
"Oof what do you think is wrong?"I ask as we leave her house and drive towards Starbucks. "Like what type of sick is it?" I add with a little chuckle.
"I'm not completely sure I've been a little nauseous and had like weird cramps, I don't know it's weird right." She questions, and looks down at her phone, probably texting Carson.
"Honestly it doesn't sound super weird when was your last period it's probably just a stomach bug mixed with your period coming."I ramble. "Or your pregnant." I add in a joking tone. She looks at me shocked at the option and just as she's about to start yelling we pull into Starbucks. I look at my phone and see everyone sent me their orders. "Just a minute please." I say as I roll down my window.
"What do you want Laya?" I question. She gives me a duh you already know look, saying she wants her usual. I turn to order " can I have 2 matcha frapes, 4 mocha frapes, 4 cappuccino, and 2 strawberry frapes, all venti please." I finish ordering and pull through to pay. After about 5 minutes they hand us 3 drink carriers. Laya puts two of them in the back seat and the one with our drinks in her lap. She hands me mine with it's straw already in I smile at her. We drive to the school we have about 8 minutes till we have to be there and a 4 minute drive.
"So do you really think I could be pregnant."Laya questions me nervously while playing with her cup. She takes a sip of her coffee and looks towards me curiously. " It's been a week " she says almost sadly and looks back up to me. "You know since I should've had my period." She adds in sadly.
"If you're really worried about it after practice I'll take you to get a test." I smile supportively. We pull into school and I park in my spot which is next to Kris's spot. We get out and grab our stuff, and just as we're about to struggle to grab the drinks Jason and Carson come over and grab them for us. We walk down to our spot outside although Carson and lays are doing more kissing then walking. "We got coffee but I want a donut first." I say looking towards Kris. She hands me and Laya a donut giggling about my antics. " Okay caffeine addicts come get your coffee." I giggle and happily eat my donut. "I need a picture for my blog." I announced pulling my phone up for a pic. Liza scoffs and rolls her eyes to my announcement. "Oh shut up my blogs pay for the coffee." I chuckle and take a picture.
"Hey Oppey what you doing after practice?" Chad asked me. I give him a flat look and he adds "because I was wondering if we could study" winking at me. I knew what he meant but I was done with that we were done hooking up.
"I'm grabbing ice cream with Laya and then I have to work on my company so I'm busy." Say flatly "And even if I wasn't I'd still say no thanks." I add and turn away from him and grab my stuff. "It's 7:40 the bell rings in 5 minutes." I say walking to the door Lynn, Laya and Liz all so join me closely flowed by Carson, Mikey, Jason and of course Chad. Hattie and Jake who were making out along with Kris and Mike notice and join us. I walk to my locker with Lizza, Mikey and Jason, because theirs were next to mine. After putting my guard bag and water jug up and double check my schedule I head to class.
~After School~
"God I hate first days." I grumble to Lizza. "It's long and people act like your dumb and freshmen are stupid and don't know how to just walk." I rant slamming my locker shut as we walk to the band building. As we exit the main building the sun sweetly embracing us. I take a swig of my water as we walk into the band building. My meds alarm start to blare I quickly turn it off and run to the guard room. I pull out my med bag and take my breathing inhaler and grab a granola bar. Liza walks in throwing her bags next to mine and pulls out her clothes and goes into the changing rooms. After I'm done with my snack I grab my clothes and shoes and change. Once we're both done we grab our gear and head out to the field.
