Our Babies

chapter 4

POV Kristen

( August 21st)
     Jason, Carson and Jake leave and the girls are spending the night. So we're just waiting for Mike, Mikey and Chad to leave. Wait I haven't seen him in, a while I look around and no sign of him or Calli. Then I realize that there probably doing and chuckle. I get up from Mike's lap and walk to her room, and knock. "Hey Chad can you stop doing my sister, so you can leave." I say through the door, calling them out. I here Calli chuckle and she opens the door.

     "We were actually coming back out."she says with a laugh. They leave her room and she says "I'm going to get the sleepover stuff and living room ready." I nod and go back out to say goodbye to Mike, and Mikey. Once all the boys leave, I tell them I'm going to get ready for bed and they should to.  Hattie, Lizza, and Sayla come to get ready to and Raylynn decided to wait and kept swimming. I go take my shower and when I get out, Laya, Calli, and Hattie are sitting in the living room. Lizza is still in the other bathroom taking a shower, and Lynn goes to get ready and take a shower. "Okay do we want to watch something?" Calli ask.

     "Oh we should watch Juno." Hattie jokes poking Laya. Laya laughs at it and nods her head. Lizza walks out of the mine and Calli's bathroom.

     "I'm cool with Juno but me and cupcake are hungry."Laya says going to the kitchen to cook. "Is everyone chill with spaghetti and hotdogs?" She questions us, we give her a questioning look. "What cupcake really wants it." She adds defensively, we all give her a laugh and give her a go ahead. She smiles and starts cooking, while Calli pulls up Juno.  Lynn comes into the living room and sits down on the couch. "Play the movie I can see from here." Laya says while putting the pasta and hotdogs in the pasta cooker. She puts it in the microwave for 15 minutes and lays on her sleeping bag. We watch the movie until the microwave goes off. Laya goes to take it out and puts it on the counter, and opens it up cursing at the heat.

     "Laya are you okay?"I ask her walking into the kitchen. She nods and sits down at the island tiredly I rub her back gently. I make her a bowl of spaghetti and hotdogs and put it infront of her. She perks up and goes to grab the ketchup I give her a grossed out look.

     "What I'm pregnant and this is good."she defends herself dumping ketchup on her food. I laugh at her and make myself a bowl and just put butter and salt on it. She gets up and happily walks back into the living room, and plops down on her sleeping bag. "There's food go eat."Laya more demands then states and pause the movie.

     I go back into the living room and all the girls but Calli went to get food. I worry about her when I first moved in she had an eating disorder. Well we both did I think our mom is really afraid we're going to relapse. But hers was far worse then mine she was bulimic along with her anorexia. It was really bad for her, I was just anorexic. Either way during that time we were very tiny, and she was hospitalized six times while I was hospitalized four. We both have bad days and luckily we have each other to get through them. She looked like she was deep in thought and then just snapped back.

     Calli grabs some food and sits back down still in her head. "What if we did it all together."she says, we all look at her confused. "Well me and Sayla were talking earlier today, and she mentioned something about being pregnant together. It sounded absolutely insane at time but then I thought about it and it would be kinda nice. Look I know we're in highschool and it sounds crazy but we could do it together. Go through it all together and maybe even live in like a house together. I even looked into it all and found a house I can afford big enough for all of us. Plus me and Kris have the company and you all work there and we make okay money. So we could do it all get pregnant with Laya in a way of support. I know it seems crazy but I just thought we could be pregnant together. Like a pregnancy pact, but more than that an agreement to stick together through it all. So what do you think?" She finishes asking us if we agree nervously.

     We all look at her thinking about what she just said and it's silent until Lizza break's the silence. "I'm down as long as I can move out and the house is for baby daddies too." Calli nodded agreeing to baby daddies moving into the house.

     "While I'm in to, I mean this is completely insane but if the rest of you are in so am I." Hattie says with a shrug.

     "Okay first this is absolutely insane we're in highschool and unlike the rest of you I'm a sophomore and this may end terribly but I'm in."Lynn says with a shrug.

     "This is insane okay but someone's gotta keep you guys from doing stupid stuff so I'm in let's all get pregnant."I say agreeing as all the eyes were on me. "Plus I'm pretty sure Calli already got knocked up tonight." I joke

     "I did not."she defends herself,"I think?"she adds with a laugh all of us joining her. "Okay but we all agree on this we're all going to try to get pregnant together?" She ask we all agree yeah. "Okay but we have to do it soon like this week we all need to 'do it' "she says

     "Except for Laya she's already knocked up." Hattie jokes "wait what about marching band and color guard there would be holes on the field?" Hattie questions.

     "Actually we can keep doing it we won't start showing until we're about 3 months. Which will be around end October which is the end of band season. Now as far as being safe for are babies we have to double our water. We will also need to have cooling rags and lots of ice, but it's safe to stay active as usual, for the first few months. So we just need to hide it for as long as we can, atleast until end of marching band season, but I think we should hide till Christmas break. We could go to school the day before break showing our bellies, and we won't have to here shit for a month."

     "Sounds like a good plan to me, now can we play Juno." Hattie says laying down infront of the TV. Calli nods and turns the movie back on and lays down next to Lizza. Laya, Liz start to fall asleep first and Calli gives them her bed. After a while and three movies Hattie and Lynn are asleep and Calli is drifting off as well. I turn off the TV and she rolls over and goes to sleep and I go to bed.
