H E fought hard against every single one of them, trying to shove them away from him. But they had beaten him to pump and his body aches badly everywhere. He didn't stop as he continues to take steps towards her body which was still tied with the ropes when he heard the loud voice of his old friend- Laith.

"Every single one of you who had taken law in their hands will be punished. If you wish that to not happen, I suggest that you walk back to your house right now". Laith warned angrily

The people started to run away to not be held accountable for their actions. Rayyan dragged his injured leg towards her as he realised that she wasn't breathing anymore.

He struggled to touch her to provide her with medical attention because it was his touch and need to calm the panic attack that landed her here.

"Laith, please do something".

Laith looks around the empty ground where his mother was struggling and he helped her. Then he runs to Caira, opening her hands as she falls to the ground. He tried to call her name but realised that he didn't know her name.

They sit in front of the hospital operating room, where she was being operated on for her wounds. Rayyan didn't allow anyone to tend to him because he wanted to feel this pain. He wanted to know how much she went through even when he wasn't anywhere near her pain.

"You need to have your wounds taken care of". Laith said

He was barely standing on his broken leg. He had been standing in front of the door to have some update on her. He tried his best to stay conscious for her, then he fainted from blood loss.

The next day he opens his eyes blinking away the harshness of the light. His eyes focus on the cries to find his family around him crying profusely. His heart pierced as he looks at the pain in their eyes that reminded him of someone else pain.

Her pain.

He jolted from his position removing the wire attached to his body while everyone speaks to him.

"Where is she?"

His voice was hoarse and filled with pain. No one spoke, looking at him conflicted.

"Tell me, mom, please?"

He continues to plead with them. His mind constructed the worst-case scenario about her health torturing him with the thoughts. He pleaded with his mother to know the truth when the doctor came in to check on him.

His mother looks at him with tears in her eyes, "She is ok. But no one knows when she will be awake. She suffered a head i-injury and-".

He felt his heart-stopping as his mother words registered in his head.

"S-She is in a coma?"

He could feel the way his body and mind detached at the information. This doesn't even mean she is alive. It just means she is there between life and death where no one knows when she will come back or better if she will ever come back.

"She just needs time. It wasn't easy what happened to her". Laith said, comforting him, "We will file a case once she is awake".

"You have to do it". He said as anger build in him, "You have to win her case".

Laith was shocked at Rayyan behaviour. Because Rayyan was always a calm person.

"I will". Laith said, placing a hand on his shoulder

"Why are you all doing this? Don't you see what she is doing to our peaceful family?" Yasmin cried, trying to bring her happy family back to normal where they have their own worries to deal with
