"W H A T did you find?". Her husband asked quivering

"I-I found that Eira wasn't the best when she started. Do you remember how many cases she lost and how she used to cry to us every day that she was failing?. Do you remember how desperate she was?". Laith asked as his voice broke and he nodded

"And do you know what desperation does?". His wife asked smirking as she opens the file looking through it to nothing that she already doesn't know about

"She entered into the devil den and signed a deal with him". Laith said falling on the ground with the pressure of his own words," She readily signed a deal with that devil to have his money, fame and power".

"A part of his money, fame and power". She corrected leaning on the wall

"Speak clearly". He ordered angrily

"You want to know the truth?". Laith asked challenging, "Then hear it, our best friend who we have grown with sharing each and every secret of ours is nothing different from those monsters we are after. She went to them signing a deal that your wife will help her with her case and she will act as her (Caira) in court while it will all be seen as anyone outside that it was indeed Caira in the court when she wasn't physically there. The judge who always seems to be on the cases of Caira- I managed to meet in and he is dying in hospital he confessed that everyone in the court was Caira's ex-husband people even himself and that no one has ever seen Caira just used her brain and name in court while in actual it was Eira present there in her place. The things that Eira desperately wanted was in expense for her to act as Caira in court".

His steps staggered as he turns to look at his wife who had nothing but the blank expression on her face while she looks at his friend breaking down in front of them.

"Eira- why?. Why did she do something like this?. We weren't supposed to be this way. We- she wasn't like that then why?". Laith cried

She sighs shaking her head at the breakdown as she walks towards the broken man on the floor. She wonder what will he be like when he know the other truth?

"Is that all it takes to break you?". She asked tilting her head as she looks in his torn eyes that desperately want this not to be true, "What will you do when you find out what she has done to actually achieve what she has today?".

"W-What?". Laith asked as shocked filled his sense

She chuckles darkly the sound so dark that their souls stirred, "This". She said shaking the documents in her hands, "Was just the start of her comfortable life. Why do you think she travels overseas and how she does that?".

Laith's eyes widen, "What has she done?. What was the thing she did?".

"When do you think she actually had it all?". She asked smirking, "When did I disappear from this world?".

"I don't know. I-". Laith started frustrated

"That is your next task then". She said shrugging handing him the documents, "What you bring to me will all be something I already have. These are all the things I want you both to look at yourselves instead of showing it to you. But the actual things you need can and will be brought by me. Prepare yourselves while you can because once the storm comes there will not be a chance".

"Did you asked your family to be safe?". She asked her husband who remains looking right at her shocked

He nodded.

"Well, I guess I should leave". She said sighing because she really wanted to have breakfast with him since it always boosts her day

As soon as she leaves he moves to hold his friend.
