T H A T'S just how it ended.

She went back home empty-handed and with an even more empty heart. She weeps through her way back not caring for anyone who might look at her. All she knows is the one love she craved most of her life was once again taken from her and this time she did it with her own hands.

"You left him". It was a statement from Laith as she walks inside, "He called to ask if you reached home yet".

She nodded mindlessly walking to the couch slumping on it. After Laith informed about her arrival he went to sit down beside Omar who was working on the file without caring for the environment around her.

"Who's next?" Laith asked

"Everyone. He will be coming out soon". Omar answered showing him the inside of the police station where Ayaan sat like a king who owns it

"What do we do?" Laith asked

"Let him come out. He will come for me for sure all we need to do it wait for him". She replied as her voice broke down

"But what about Rayyan's family?".

"If he comes after us and we kill him then his master will not kill people associated with us especially after we broadcast their plans to the public. These people don't do anything in public they are hidden behind the curtain. If we open the curtains they will hide away in some other places". She explained

She couldn't handle these emotions she had never felt before. The pain of having her heart ripping out every passing minute as she could feel his touch on her. The way her heart pleads for her to walk back and embrace him. The last moment of watching him begging for her to take him with her while she walked away.

"Then we attack him?" Omar asked

She nodded, "I have Adam's gang members against him. They will help us to fight against them. The main target will always be Ayaan so we need to be sure that whoever it is that come across him knows that they have to kill him".

"You think he will come out that easy?" Laith asked

"No, he won't. He will not come easily but he could be provoked. I know for a fact that once he is provoked he won't think straight and dive into anything. So, I will not appear until we kill half of his people. After we had taken down enough I will have a say and he will walk out".

"He will kill you".

"I wasn't meant to live anyways". She said walking away to her room breaking down as soon as she enters inside

She feels the throbbing inside her chest to the point that she was barely even breathing. The moments of his love appear one by one in front of her eyes making it harder for her to stay sane. She crawls towards the bathroom throwing herself in the tub opening the shower drowning her screaming and cries for him.

If he had known that she would push him away would he have stayed until now?

Yes, he would have.

The familiar aching in his heart that he had once felt when he had met her that night when everything went down under the rain. He stands in front of his room window watching the rain falling down reminding him that it was almost a year they have been together. These past months went by in a blur and the way she had moulded into a beautiful creation was still beyond him.
