The Tribrid

Chapter 5

I woke up in a small room. It was dark and scary. The room wasn't big but it wasn't small either. I quickly got up and looked around. There were stairs that lead up to a strange door and a little window so I could see the outside. As I was looking around I realized that I was in a large cage. It was more like a cell to be honest because there was a lot of space. I saw a food bowl with the word 'pet' on it. I rolled my eyes. I also noticed that I was wearing a collar with a leash connected to it and the leash was also connected to the wall. I decided that I have had enough of this and tried to use my sonic scream but it didn't work. Odd.

"That won't work princess" I heard a strange voice. I looked and saw a small cat with white fur standing outside my cage. I quickly got up and walked over to it.

"Who are you and why am I hear?" I asked.

"My name is Alex." He said "I am also a pets here but I'm not chained up like you. I'm not as special as you are and  I am trusted by the owners of this place because I help gather information from people. That's how I know what you are. Part human, part mermaid, part raven. Also that anklet on your leg stops your powers".

Suddenly I heard a loud noise and it made me jump. I stared at the door for a few seconds before asking a question "wait how do you know what I am?" I turned back to where the cat was but he is gone. Strange. Wait a minute did he say part human? Which means he doesn't know about my mermaid side? And the anklet he mentioned explains why my sonic scream didn't work.

I began to lay down when I heard the door open. I walked up to the side of the cell to see who came down the stairs. I saw a 4 human boys who looked about my age.

"Aww your so adorable. Hello my name is Erick. Pleasure to meet you." said one of the boys. He was kind of tall. I'd say about 5'8. He had black curly hair and had thick black glasses on.

The boy next to him had a perm. His hair was dark brown with orange at the tips. He was a little shorter than Erick. I'd say probably around 5'6. "Hey sweetie my name is Brandon the handsome one" 

"My Turn! My Turn! My name is Steve!" Said a boy with white hair. His hair was covering his right eye. "This is my twin brother Kyle!" He said grabbing onto a person who looked just like him. Steve and Kyle both looked to be about 5'7 in height. They looked the same except Kyle had black hair and it was swept over, covering his left eye.

"I'm going back to my room. I don't know why we have to be nice, talk, and give our names to her. She's just a stupid mutt." Kyle said in a cold tone. I heard Steve yelling at Kyle to make him stay and Kyle finally said "fine"

I tried to hold back my tears. No one has ever said harsh things to me before.

Brandon decided to speak " maybe this would be easier if you turned into your human form". He said. I quickly shook my head. "Too bad. I'm not asking you." He said as he pulled out a remote. "This device is contacted to your anklet. If you don't follow our orders then we will have no choice but to press this little green button which causes the little anklet to shock you. If it shocks you 10 times within 1 hour then you will probably become paralyzed and you won't be able to wake up until the next day". Now let's try this again. Turn into your human form now!" He said using a harsh tone.

I had no choice but to obey him and I quickly transformed into my human form. My human form is a 16 year old girl with skin paler than the sand on a beach. I had bright green eyes and I was extremely skinny. I wore a white crop top with a red and black flannel over it and some shorts that stopped at mid thigh. I had light brown hair with blond at the tips of it. My hair is long enough to reach my stomach. The only problem was that I still have a freakin collar on my neck. "I'm in my human form. Are you happy now your majesty?" I said in a sarcastic tone.

"I'm very happy. Your much cuter this way." Just then, Erick walked up to Brandon and whispered something in his ear. "Good idea Erick! Why don't we have some fun." Brandon said while looking at me with a smirk on his face. He then put a key in the lock that was keeping my cage door from opening. He was now inches away from me and soon after the other guys followed him. Now they were all sitting in front of me. Staring at me with huge smirks on all of their faces except for  Kyle who rolled his eyes.

"Can we leave now?" Kyle said

"Not yet we need to do something first." Replied Brandon as he got up and started walking towards me. I grabbed my collar and the chain that was hold me back and started pulling on both of them to get them off but it was too late. Brandon grabbed my chin with his hand, forcing me to look at him. "You will never be able to escape so make no attempt to do so. We are high class nobles so if you escape it will be easy to hire some people to kill you. Is that understood?"

I could feel tears about to fall but I held them back. I lifted my hand and used the little strength I had left and smacked Brandon across the face which caused him to take his hand off my chin. "Uh oh someone's being a bad girl." Erick said while walking over Brandon who gave him the remote. "I think you know what this means."

"Noooo." I screamed but it was too late. I felt a bolt of electricity course through my ankle which traveled up my leg and throughout my whole body. I started screaming and crying because of how much pain I felt. All of the boys started laughing, even Kyle who usually has a stoic personality. Brandon suddenly got up. I could see that I left a red hand print on his face from smacking him.

Brandon glared at me. He then punched me and I fell to the floor. "Stupid Bitch." I heard him say before I blacked out
