The Tribrid

Chapter 9

I tried to go to sleep but I couldn't. They didn't even bother to give me a bed or pillow or a blanket. I decided that I'll just stay up and plot for an escape plan. I sat up and stared at the wall for who knows how long, just thinking about a way to escape. Suddenly I heard a loud noise outside. I looked out the window that was next to my cell and saw that it was pouring outside. I also saw a flash of light. Oh No! It's thunder and lightning! My biggest fear!

I crouched in the corner of my cage and placed my hands over my ears. I started crying to myself and I closed my eyes. Suddenly I felt someone taking my hands off my ears. That person untied my hand and started to embrace me. He held my head as I could feel his breath on my neck. He let go and I saw that it was Kyle. The other boys including Alex were in my cage just staring at me with shocked looks on their faces.

Kyle embraced me again and whispered in my ear. "Sierra, are you scared of thunder and lightning?" I nodded and hugged him back. My hands were digging into his back. I was too scared to move. He let go of me after a few seconds and turned to look at the others. "Guys she too scared. I heard that pets can die from fear so is it okay if I take her to my room?"

"Are you sure. She might escape" I heard Brandon say.

"It's fine. She won't get very far with that anklet on" Kyle responded. The others nodded and left the room. Kyle removed my collar and lifted me up bridal style and carried me to his room. He placed me on his bed and he took off his shirt. He hopped into bed right next to me. I started hearing more thunder and it made me jump. I reached out and grabbed onto him. He smirked and put his arms around me.

As he saw tears rolling down my eyes, he began to pet my head. And whispered to me. "Shhhh it's okay. I'm hear for you." I buried my head in his chest and fell asleep.

When I woke up I saw him sleeping soundly. I thought that this was my time to escape. As I crawled out of his bed I found a piece of wood on his desk that was in the corner of the room. I tried to hit him in the head with it. He stopped the piece of wood with his hand and opened his eyes. He smirked at me and took the wood from me and threw it across the room.

As I tried to run he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back into bed with him. He put one of his hands around my waist while his other hand was wrapped around my shoulder. "Let me go!" I yelled in frustration, trying to escape his grasp.

He smirked and began to chuckle. "This is your punishment. Just enjoy it" A few minutes passed until he finally let me go. I tried to run but he picked me up and carried my back down to the basement where he placed me into my cage.

He locked my cage door and walked away. Before he could leave I ran up to my  cage walls and yelled to him "wait!" He stopped but didn't turn around. "What is wrong with you? One minute your cold and the next your flirty and charming. I don't understand you!"

He turned his head to face me and smiled. "You'll find out who I am soon enough" he said and then walked out of the room. I sat there thinking about what he just said. I don't know when, but while I was thinking I ended up falling asleep. I heard my cage door open and someone stepped inside. I slowly opened my eyes. I didn't see who it was but someone covered my mouth and started poking a needle in my arm, trying to inject me with something. My vision went blurry. I lost my hearing and then I blacked out.
