~Sleep~
~Eleanor~
~~~~~ I blink awake, slightly startled by the dim light that meets them. It takes me a few moments to remember where I am and why as I look over at the rising sun. I quickly realize that my head is placed in Theodore's lap, and I nearly jump as I look up and meet his eyes. "Oh... god... I am so sorry Theodore." I quickly lift myself up. "I knew I would fall asleep but I didn't think I'd fall asleep in... your lap." My eyes widen slightly and I advert my gaze from him. "You're okay, Eleanor, I was perfectly happy to have you in my lap." Oh my god I fell asleep in his lap what the hell. "Uh... yeah." I avoid looking at him. "Did... did you sleep?" He shakes his head slightly. I turn to him quickly, letting out an aggressive sigh. "You can't just not sleep! You could have woken me up!" He shakes his head, smirking at me. "Sorry Eleanor, I'm not allowed to wake up cute things asleep on my lap." I stare at him a moment before feeling a blush rise up my neck as I look away.
"You didn't have to... um... let's go back so you can go to sleep. You need to be sleeping." He sighs. "You're the one who usually doesn't sleep Eleanor." I roll my eyes at him. "I literally just was." He gives me a pointed look before looking at his watch. "Yeah, for about four hours." I sigh. "That's plenty of time." He stands up, offering me a hand. "If I sleep, you sleep." I take his hand and he lifts me up with ease.
"I can't promise you that and you know that." He nods. "Try."~~~~~We walk into the front door and I almost fall as I run into Oliver. "Um... where have you guys been?" Teddy asks as my eyes meet Alex's narrowed ones. His eyes widen as he gasps. "You did not!" I look away from him and he gasps again. "You did! Oh wow... I freaking called it." I look back to him and gape. "You did not!" He smirks at me.
"Wait... What did I just miss?" Oliver asks, his eyes darting between me and Alex. "You in no way called that, Alex!" He purses his lips at me. "I beg to differ. I knew it was coming, I saw it in you." Oliver's eyes flash between me and Alex quickly. "Saw what in her!? What happened??" I look to Oliver, who had his eyebrows scrunched together in a look of pure confusion.
"Eleanor and Theodore sit-"
If you don't shut your dirty mouth I will personally make sure that you never have the ability to have kids.
He hangs his mouth open for a second before closing it and glaring at me. "Threats aren't nice, Eleanor." He mocks, causing me to roll my eyes.
I notice Theodore looking between us, but he is quickly distracted as Teddy screeches. "You didn't!" She looks between me and Theodore before smirking at us both.
"Well, I didn't know it did that." She says, wiggling her eyebrows at me. I bury my face in my hands with a groan, feeling heat trail up my neck.
"Wait... I'm still so confused." I peek at Oliver from over my hands. "What did I miss?" Teddy sighs before whispering in his ear. "Oh, that? Yeah, I already knew about that." I drop my hands, my gaze quickly turning to Theodore, who's eyes were wide as he stared at Oliver.
"Dude! You weren't supposed to say anything!"
"You knew and you didn't tell me!?" Teddy pipes in.
"You told him?" I ask Theodore quietly, and he quickly turns to me, his eyes softening. "Yes... I'm really truly sorry, Eleanor. I was just freaking out over it... and... and then you fell asleep in my lap and... and..."
"It's okay Theodore, I'm not mad." His body visibly relaxes at my words and I smile slightly.
"Okay, you guys can all chill out now, isn't that what everybody want-" The front door bursts open behind me and Theodore, and when I turn around, I see Lillian.
"THEY KISSED AND NOBODY TOLD ME!?" Oh my god. I cover my face with my hands as I sink into myself, completely embarrassed.
"I'm going to... go take a shower..."
"Yeah and uh... I'm going to go... Do some paper work!"
I turn on Theodore, fixating a glare on him. "You sir, are going to go to sleep because you are an idiot who stayed up all night." My voice is calm but demanding, which issues an "ohhh" from Oliver as Theodore stares as me wide-eyed.
"Okay, yes ma'am." I raise an eyebrow at him and he puts his hands up before walking away and up the stairs. I go to follow so I can take a shower, but a hand grabs my collar. "Oh uh-uh, you are sitting right here and telling us everything that happened." I sigh as I let Lillian drag me to the couch.
"Who took initiative?" Alex asks quickly, and I groan as heat rises up my neck. "Me..." I mutter, which causes Alex to smirk at me, Teddy to laugh, Lillian to do some weird timid squeal thing, and Oliver to smile.
"I knew my girl had it in her." I punch Alex in the arm playfully and he winces. "Am I wrong?" I roll my eyes at me.
"Also..." Alex says, dragging out the word. "Did I hear Theodore correctly? Did you fall asleep in that boy's lap?" I shrug. "Rather I... Moved to his lap in my sleep. And just my head, surprisingly, he's a really comfy pillow."
Lillian pulls me into a short, tight hug. "I'm happy for you, Eleanor, we all are."
I smile lightly at her before standing. "I would actually like to take a shower now, I kind of slept on grass last night." Teddy chuckles before shooing me away.
