I woke up around 830 A.M.

It was Saturday morning and I didn't want to be up yet.

My mom was still sleeping since I didn't hear anything.

I slowly opened my door and saw her sleeping in her bra and underwear on the floor next to the couch.

I shivered a bit and walked into the kitchen to grab an apple.

"Tobie!!!" She yelled in a drunkin slur.

"What?"

"Don't talk so loud! I want you to get mommy some chips and a diet coke from the store. Moneys in my bag. Only get the money that's needed. You don't get anything." She said starting to doze off.

"Okay..." I muttered.

I grabbed the money with a few extra dolors for myself.

I got dressed and put my big fluffy coat on. My hair was in a side pony tail that was kinda messy.

I grabbed my key and slid out the door.

It was snowing lightly.

My shoes hit the ground and crunched the snow.

It was about 10 minutes from the store walking.

I exhaled to watch my breath from the cold. It was pretty entertaining for the moment.

I walked into the store pretty wet.

I grabbed a big bag of chips and walked over to the drinks.

"Tobie!"

I jumped a little and turned to see Mr. Dawns walking down the aisle to me.

"Fancy seeing you here." I smiled a bit.

"Chips and a drink?" He said

"Very healthy." He smirked.

"Do you want a drink?"

"Yeah." He said taking a soda.

I was a bit shocked that he excepted my offer. But, I did ask. there goes my moms drink, I thought.

I grabbed my energy drink and we headed to the self-checker.

He put his chocolate bar and his gum in the bag and waited for me to do the same. I was a bit ticked. I was sure I didn't have enough money.

After everything was in the bag I started to put my money in.

He grabbed my hand and pushed it away from the machine and put his money in instead before I could say no.

He grabbed his change and smiled at me.

"You didn't have to pay." I said.

"It would be kinda messed up to let you pay for my things. Plus, it's nice." His smile lit up a bit more.

"Want me to walk you home? I'd ask to drive you but the store isn't far from my house so I just walk."

"Sure." I smiled sweetly.

We exited the store and started to walk.

He had his bag and I had mine.

It still was snowing.

"What's your most embarrassing moment?" I asked trying to lead to what happened yesterday.

"Well, it was in high school." He started to say.

I didn't think he'd actually tell me a personal story.

"I went to a school dance with a girl I was dating at the time. Her name was Lilly, if it helps. Anyways, Lilly started to dance and told me to dance with her but, I had no clue how to dance. I thought it wouldn't matter and it would be fun if I did or didn't so, I went for it, started to dance."
