((sorry for everyone who was waiting. I honestly didn't know how popular this was getting))
I walked into his glowing house. It seemed so life like. I felt as if every object had a majestic story to it.
He looked rather wealthy.
"I missed you." He said smiling.
I turned toward him.
He didn't look much different. Same height, same hair, but, he was just a tad more muscular.
"Back atcha"
"I'm guessing you're surprised I'm with her?"
I nodded slightly and irritated. My mind was reliving that day.
"Well, I'm not with her anymore."
I looked over at him happy but, also confused.
"Why-what-who... What happened?" I stuttered.
"Things didn't work out." He said putting it simply.
"I still have May, though. She lives with me."
He seemed like a proud father.
"Glad some guys take care of their children." I said softly.
There wasn't much to say between us. After two years you'd think you would have so much to talk about but, it was more just awkward. I felt like I shouldn't of been there.
"So who's Hayden?" He asked snippy.
"My boyfriend."
He stared at me then weakly smiled.
"I see."
I nodded. Once again it turned into more awkwardness.
Soon, our silence was interrupted by a a simple knock.
He walked over and opened the door. I followed a little. I was a couple feet behind him.
"Uh." Matt said.
"Tobie? Why are you here?!"
"Hayden? How did you even..."
"John told me." He snapped.
Hayden was very controlling. I loved him but, he could never take no as an answer. He was 5'8, buzzed brown hair, with dark brown eyes. He wasn't the thinest but wasn't fat.
I however still looked the same.
"So? What's your excuse?" Hayden asked
I could see Matt was extremely uncomfortable and confused.
"He's my old teacher, babe." I said to him.
He didn't seem to care for that answer even thought, it WAS the truth.
"This is the prick you liked? That old teacher?"
Matt looked at me. Not with a smile nor a frown.
I couldn't continue to hide my feelings for Matt. After all it was two years ago. Surly I don't feel the same now. Right?
I nodded.
"Correct."
Matt stared at me then looked back at Hayden.
"Maybe you should leave, son." Matt told him.
Hayden looked at him. He looked shocked that he spoke.
"She's my girlfriend." He spat.
Matt bit his tongue a bit.
"Daddy...?" A small voice coming behind us said.
We all turned toward her.
"I'm hungry." She rubbed her eyes.
I didn't want to cause any problems in his own home. Especially now that May, was up.
Hayden turned back to me.
I couldn't say see you later or anything under those lines without another fight. I simply walked to the door.
Hayden took ahold oh my arm and started to drag me to his car. I glanced back at Matt.
He stared at me and then closed the door.
I kind of felt like he had turned his back on me again.
--
Back home, at Hayden's place. I sat on his couch while he paced back and forth in front of me.
"You understand you can't break up with me. Right?" He told me.
I stared at him.
"You're mine you're MY property."
"I'm not an object." I stood up from the couch.
He shifted his eyes and gave me the death look.
It didn't scare me this time.
"Don't get smart with me, bitch." His tone got darker.
"You don't get to treat me like-- HEY!" He screamed throwing his hand over my neck, pinning me to the wall.
"Don't look away when I'm talking. UNDERSTAND?"
I was having trouble breathing. I nodded slightly. He let go.
"If you go see or talk to him again and I find out? I will kill him. I don't care if his kids watching. I will slit his throat."
I cringed at the thought.
"...Fine."
A evil grin grew on his face.
"Good. Glad we could understand each other. Now... How about some fun?" He smirked.
I stared at him. This wasn't just jealousy anymore.
