Matt Dawns POV
2nd period always put a smile on my face.
Even if my job was just a job I still loved the kids.
I was sending in the information to the trackers on who was in 1st before I got started. I already herd Tobie's voice which made me smile more.
I got up after I was done.
"Morning class." I said happily.
To many people were ignoring me like usual.
I put on a video about the old Chinese people and what it was like.
I sat in the back were Tobie, Demi, and John were at.
I couldn't help but being a creep and starring at the back of her head.
I had a bad problem with eavesdropping.
"He's really cute." Tobie said
I smiled a bit.
"I can't believe you think he's cute... I mean... Mr. Nole?"
I felt my heart drop.
"Do you like him Tobie?"
"No, he's just attractive. I could like him in the future if I talk to him more. But for now I just like Mr. Dawns." She said.
After a few more classes, it was lunch. I sat by James. (Mr. Nole)
"Hello, Matt." He grinned.
"Did you help Tobie with the math? I could of done it easily myself because I'm amazing at math but I was working on other things." I told him.
"Last time I checked you were bad at math." He said laughing.
"Well, I'm great now."
"Anyways, she's a great kid. I introduced her to Zoe. They seem to be getting along great! She thanked me actually this morning." He chuckled taking a bite of his sandwich.
I nodded. I rapped my lunch and threw it away. It was wasteful I new that but, I wasn't hungry at all.
I went upstairs to the main office and into the tracker.
"Hey Lis, um, Tobie Landon needs to change her class.
"Out of yours?"
"Out of Mr. Noles."
"Why?"
"She told me she hates that teacher."
"She can't tell me herself?"
"She was scared to come talk to you Lis."
"Well, alright." She said.
She started to type on her computer.
I sat watching her fingers slide a crossed the keys.
"There you are Matt." She said smiling handing me a new schedule.
"Thank you very much." I said leaving the room.
I walked down stairs to find Tobie, she was eating with Zoe and Demi.
"Hey Tobie, here's a new schedule your adviser wanted me to give this to you."
She took the paper and read it to herself.
"What? I have Mrs. Hue for math now? Why not Nole?"
I shrugged pretending that I didn't know.
"Well, see you later Tobie." I said with a smile.
I walked away feeling pride.
