3rd person's POV
Damian retracted his hand while he continued to stare at Alex. Alex shifted uncomfortably under his gaze.
He was about what was wrong, but before he had the chance to Damian asked "what are your pronouns?"
Alex was prepared to explain his weird gender mashup.
Though he wasn't prepared for this boy to ask so politely.
Usually he would just get confused looks until he explained, and the few people whom actually asked about his gender would just say something like 'are you a boy or a girl?'. It kinda irritated him because what if somebody wasn't a girl nor a boy. How were they supposed to explain what they were when the only genders these people knew were male and female (sorry about that rant, but that is actually something that I've wanted to get off my chest for a while).
He smiled kindly as he explained his 'genders' he finished the explanation with "but right now my pronouns are he/him". It took Damian a second to process the information. When he finally understood he gave a small nod and looked over at Nico. After the little 'discussion' we had a minute prior he was still blushing. Damian gave Nico a look that seemed to ask "are you ok?" That seemed to only make him blush deeper. He gave a small nod while staring at the ground.
Damian still seemed suspicious, but he let it go as he walked out of the kitchen.
