3rd person's POV
Nicos eyes widened at the newfound information.
"Y-you have another brother?" He was so surprised he didn't even notice that he had stuttered.
Nico used to hate when he stuttered. It made him look scared and small, but after many years of fighting he had managed to get his annoying habit under control.
Tim was the first to speak "We used to" he also looked shaken quite shaken up. "He was killed by Joker a year ago". Nico felt a memory pop up in his head. "So that was the brother you were talking about when Batman was fighting the joker?"
Tim didn't trust his voice so he just nodded.
Nico seemed to take all that information in, when he finished he asked "How was he killed?".
This time it was Richards time to answer "He was taken by Joker. We looked for him for several days, when we finally found him...it was too late. He had third degree burns over his entire body and he had a knife, sticking out of his stomach".
That seemed to be the breaking point for Damian, he turned to walk up the stairs before saying "I'm going to bed". The two other brothers seemed to have seen this coming and Tim said "I'm going to check on him". Richard and Nico have a quick and small nod before Tim turned to follow his brother.
"Damian were the closest to Jason. When he lost his parents Jason took him in and showed him the strings. They were nearly inseparable. When Jason died we didn't see Damian for almost a week. He was just in his room mourning" Richard frowned at the memory.
Both boys were quiet for a while before Nico snapped his heads towards Richard. "I have a question" Nico said. Dick looked intrigued and nodded his head in a way that said 'Continue'. "If i had a secret. A very important secret that would help find your brother, but also change the way you look at me. Would you manage to keep it a secret for your brothers, at least for now?". Nico looked so serious Richard couldn't help, but get goosebumps.
He thought for a second before saying with determination:
"I will do anything to find my brother"
