That's Confidential Information

3'rd persons POV

"Sit down" Nico commanded. The way he said it let Richard know that there were no rooms for complaint or annoyance.

Richard shifted awkwardly. "So-" he trailed off "what did you wanna talk about?".

Nico seated himself across from Richard. His fuzzy black ears were flat agents his head and his tail was wrapped around his waist. "I wont beat around the bush" Nico started. He mentally prepared for the reaction he was going to get

"I have powers"

Richard froze. It looked like there were going a hundred thoughts going around in his head. He looked like he had many questions, but he settled for "how did you get them?".

Nico knew he couldn't tell him about his 'other' world. So instead of coming up with some wacky story along the likes of 'I was bitten by a magical and venomous spider' he settled with "that's confidential information".

"Are there others with the same powers as you?"

"That's confidential information"

"Is there anything you can tell me that isn't 'confidential information'?"

"That's confidential information" though when he said it this time he had a playful glint in his eyes, letting Richard know that he was joking.

"What are your powers?"

Nico finally didn't just say 'that's confidential information'. Instead he actually answered.

"I can teleport though shadows, i call that shadow travel" Nico was looking down so that he didn't need to se the reaction that he was bound to get.

"I can see the dead and communicate with dead souls that haven't made their way to the underworld" Nico knew that Richard was going to ask ask about the underworld, so he continued explaining leaving no room for questions.

"While I'm in a domain with many dead souls such as graveyards, war-zones etc, i have heightened senses and i get stronger also if i have a wound at this time it will automatically heal, i call that deathly heal. When I'm in pain i can transfer that pain over to someone else, though i need a strong emotional connection with that person in order to do so. That power can also go the other way around which means i can take other peoples pain and transfer it over to me, i call that pain transfer. I can raise the dead, but its very tiring.
Last but not least, Soul Search. With this ability, if i concentrate hard enough i can see all the personal information about a specific person, though the more i see and hang out with them the more personal the information I collect gets."

He finally finished and he expectedly looked up at Richard. He seemed to be processing all the information. Nico knew how hard it was to learn about new powers and worlds. He personally learnt new things about the world daily!

They both sat in silence for about 5 minuets. Nico was going to break the silence, but Richard beat him to it.

"If you can see someone's personal information, do you know my secret?" Richard asked it in a nonchalant way, so that if Nico didn't know said secret he wouldn't pry about it for to long.

Nico was about to lie and say something along the lines of 'what secret?', but he decided against it.

'I have lied to him for too long'

"I know you're Nightwing, Richard"

Another chapter done! This one was fun to write.
