           APPLE OF HIS EYES

A couple of weeks later. Nakasakay siya sa limousine kasama si Maxwell at Bertrand papuntang Cordonian countryside. Nagising siya sa mahinang tapik sa balikat niya na nakatulog pala siya sa byahe.

" I hate to cliche, but are we there yet?" Aniya sa mga ito.  " Almost Sam, and believe me as you to get out of this car..... especially since were going to applewood! " Ani Maxwell.   " Is that really the name of the Royals family county's Manor? " Everything here in Cordonian has been so grand...but that's.. quaint!" Aniya.

" It's decided appropriate. Applewood Manor's border's the largest apple orchard in the entire kingdom. Apple varietal Cordonia is most famous for." Paliwanag ni Maxwell sa kanya.

" Oh right! This famous apple is called the Cordonian ruby." Aniya.  " Very good. You've been paying attention. Ang Cordonian ruby is a red varietal that's pleasantly crisp with an intense flavor honeyed caramel." Ani Bertrand na nakangiti. Ito ata ang unang beses niya na nakitang ngumiti si Bertrand.

" Alam mo yan na ang pinaka maganda mong sinabi simula ng dumating ako ng palasyo." aniya

" We'll..

" Likes apple obviously." Aniya.

" Precisely." Now let us review your role this weekend in earnest." Ani Bertrand sa kanya.

Earnest?" You make it sound like i need to step out of the game..." Aniya." You need to. Since the King announced his retirement. Everything has changed." Ani Bertrand..". " Its guess the announcement is very serious. Nakita ko ang hari na kinausap si Liam about sa early retirement nito last week at the beach party." Aniya kay Bertrand.

" Really? What do you Know about it."

" We'll.. i know nothing the king dismissed me before thier talk."  kailangan kong umalis. I haven't talked with Liam since then. Hindi ko na nga siya nakikita lately." Malungkot na sabi niya.

" He probably busy with preparation for the coronation. At kailangan natin mag effort were no longer playing for the title of the princess.

" Kung ikaw ang papakasalan ni Liam. You'll be Queen soon." Ani Bertrand sa kanya na seryosong nakatingin sa kanya. " The stakes are higher than ever. We must succeed.

" Bertrand? You know i actually care about the prince right. We have a relationship kung ako ang piliin niya it'll because he cares for me and i care for him." Aniya dito.

" Thats good. Use that. Let your sentimental heart fuel your competitive spirit.

" Bertrand...

I'm marely preparing you. The other ladies are only going more competitive kung gusto mo talaga sa siya. Then be serious." Saad ni Bertrand sa seryosong tono.  " We'll.. that i can agree to." Aniya.  " Wala na tayong oras Sam kalahating buwan nalang bago ang coronation." Paala nito sa kanya.

" Time flies when your jet- setting around in Cordonia." Sabad ni Maxwell.". So.. ano ang gawin ko ngayon?" Tanong niya sa mga ito.

" No time to play coy. Spend as much time with Liam as possible." Ani Maxwell.

" If you can't do that, try not to get in trouble." According to my reports kayo nila Olivia at Madeline ang nangunguna." Ani Bertrand.   " But Liam and i have a special connection." Aniya sa mga ito.

" Sam maaring ikaw nga ang laman ng puso ng prinsipe but Madeline and Olivia they are popular to the Royal court. They're both going try to undermine you" Ani Bertrand.
