ROYAL ROMANCE

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

You wake up...and glance at the clock noticing its nearly noon.

"I....what? I must've sleep in." Usa niya.
You dart out of the bed and out into the hall. Nakita niya sa may hagdan ang ibang staff na naglilinis ng mga kalat kagabi kasama si Maxwell at Bertrand.

" Hey, why'd nobody come get me?" Sabi niya sa dalawa na seryosong naglilinis.
" You earned a day to sleep in." Ani Bertrand sa kanya.
" I...did?" Naguguluhan niyang tanong dito.
" We'd also thought it'd be better if we minimize the destruction from last night before you woke up." Ani Maxwell sa kanya.

" I could've helped you guys...
" You know that, right?." Aniya sa mga ito.
" We don't want you wasting your energy when we're heading into the most important event of our lives.." ani Bertrand.
" The coronation ball  is next and after last night. All eyes are going to be on you." Ani Maxwell sa kanya.
" So get what sleep you can. It's not long before we depart for the palace." Dagdag ni Bertrand.

         LADY IN WAITING

Early in the morning, yoir plane touches down on the tarmac..

" It's a short flight back to the palace." Usal niya.
" Much faster than travelling by limousine. Thats certain and Every second counts today." Ani Bertrand.
" I can't believe the coronation is tonight." Ani Maxwell. Kahit siya hindi rin makapaniwala kinakabahan siya.
" Lahat ng ginagawa natin i hope Will lead to us." Ani Bertrand.

" Im going to crash it." Aniya.

" The other ladies won't know what hit them." Ani Maxwell.
" And then I'll be the future Queen." Usal niya.

" Lady Samantha.." tawag ni Bertrand sa kanya.

" I Know, don't mess up." Dugtong niya sa sasabihin ni Bertrand.

" That's not what i was going to say." Ani Bertrand sa kanya.

" Lady Samantha, i have faith in you." Seryosong saad ni Bertrand.

"Huh? Oh! Thank--" saad niya dito.
"Ahem... but there's still ample time for you to disappoint me." Dugtong nito sa sinabi niya.

" That's more like i was expecting..." Aniya dito.
A few minutes later the aircraft taxis to its gate and you walk the tarmac towards the airport.

" Now, i trust that you're ready for the coronation? Have you prepared your gift for the prince." Tanong ni Bertrand sa kanya.
" Gift? Tanong niya dito.
" Maxwell!" Tawag ni Bertrand.

" Oh, right the coronation gift! Er, sorry, Samantha...." Ani Maxwell sa kanya.
Every coronation may gift sa prinsipe. Pumunta siya sa shop para bumili ng regalo kay Liam dito sa loob ng airport kasama si Bertrand at Maxwell ng may makita siyang key chain na statue of liberty.

" What did you di you find Samantha?" Tanong ni Bertrand sa kanya.
" A keychain, Statue of liberty." Sagot niya.
" Oh yeah! When we meet in New York, he kept talking about the statue of liberty." Ani Maxwell.
" Its a gift trinket. You think that will impressed a crown prince? Tanong nito sa kanya.
" Well.. were making a progress on that poem. What do you think Samantha?" Tanong ni Maxwell sa kanya.
" I think I'll go with the Statue of liberty." Sagot niya sa mga ito. Umalis na sila ng shop at hila ni Maxwell ang luggage niya papunta sa limousine.

A while later. Pabalik na sila ng Cordonia.
" Goodluck, Samantha." Ani Maxwell at Bertrand.

" For House Beaumont!" Aniya.

" For House Beaumont!" Ani Maxwell.

" Yes, yes, now go!" Ani Bertrand sa kanila ni Maxwell.

Papunta na siya sa boutique para maghanda ng makita niya si Hana at olivia preparing the ball.
